SIMPLE PLAN ARRIVES, AND PLAYS, IN MEXICO CITY

A short rest after shooting the video for “Save You”, the guys are back on the road, this time in Mexico. The boys arrived in Mexico City yesterday to screaming fans and got right down to business with their first of four shows in the country tonight, September 29th.

The guys were in Toronto this past weekend to shoot a new video, this time for their new single, “Save You”.

Here is a sneak peek at what you’ll be seeing soon, with Chuck explaining the performance scene.

This was shot at about 1.30am, after a long day of shooting and about 2 hours past the scheduled finishing time, notice how the guys are able to stay SUPER focused when the camera isn’t looking at them!

AUSTRALIAN TOUR

So we’ve been reading a lot of your comments and we wanted to tell you guys that we feel the same way that you do about the Perth show. It seems like a lot of venues there have a 18+ rule, which is something we found out after the fact when we booked the tour. We wanted you to know that this is a concern for us as well. We are trying to make sure that the show can be opened to all ages, as all of our shows usually are.

In the mean time, start working on your fake id, make sure you get your tickets and we’ll do our best to get everyone invited.

CANADIAN TOUR NEARING ITS END- WITH MONTREAL ENCORE

When Christmas is over, don’t you wish you could do it all over again in two weeks? Well, this is the feeling we’re getting with a second Montreal show only a few days away.

The Canadian tour has been going amazing and I think that it’s fair to say that the hometown gigs are always special so it’s a super extra treat to have a second one.

If you live in or around Montreal, don’t miss this second homecoming, there are a few tickets left.. Just to tempt you even more, here’s some footage from the last one.

G’day! It’s been long enough and it had to happen! Simple Plan is heading back down under for a string of shows in Australia. Here are the dates:

Tuesday 14 October - Metro City, Perth (18+)
Thursday 16 October - Newcastle Entertainment Centre (All Ages)
Friday 17 October - Brisbane Entertainment Centre (All Ages)
Saturday 18 October - Hordern Pavilion, Sydney (All Ages)

Public onsale for the shows is Thursday 11 September (9:00am local time). Internet links to buy tickets will be available shortly

Already 3 shows into the tour and things are rolling along super smoothly. I guess it doesn’t hurt that the weather has been great and that the last time we played these arenas it was the dead of winter.

The guys are kicking off their Canadian Tour Tonight in St-John’s, Newfoundland and as I type this the guys are onstage playing “Addicted”. We’re all so stoked about this little cross country trek that I figured I’d keep you up-to-the-minute on what’s going down. Here are the guys, hitting the stage at the Mile One Arena.
