This is probably one of the most personal videos I have ever made. I was contemplating not uploading this, but film making is about emotions and story telling and this video is both. The words featured in this video are actual excerpts from my diary during a tough time in my life. And during those tough times, I had mentors and support from friends, but most of all, I had music. One of the most prominent songs in my life is "Welcome to My Life" by Simple Plan. It spoke for me when I couldn't find the courage to and gave me something to relate to. This song saved my life.

You just did what every Astronaut out there has wanted to do but hasn't. Very well done. I saw the dates, and I was in a rough spot throughout the same time period. Awesome doesn't cover it. I hope to see more of your work one day! :)

I really think you were brave uploading this. It's not easy telling your story. I know it, cause I've been there ans struggled for months. Simple Plan has helped us all in such an amazing way, that IT makes us feel we own them who we are now. You made a great job with the video, it's really touching and has a lots of feelings in it. The ending is really moving, at least for me, because WTML was the first song that made me feel someone was there for me, and I think it worked the same way for you. Hope life treats you well, best wishes, Agus.

and such a beautiful -and clever! :D- ending... can't think of something greater than that. the beginning is pretty neat, too: showing all the different places. are you inspired by 'Jet Lag', if I may ask? ;)

also, I think there's no better place to shoot this than your own room: where all of those sad thoughts really come out. it gives more life to this vid, in my opinion. the color of your room is pretty suitable for the feeling, too, I must say! ;D

and from all of the sets, I gotta say the shots from the window is my favorite. it's just like... you're trying to reach something that's really far; and it kinda shows loneliness and separation. I don't know. all I know that I really like it; and I also like the curtain. ;)

well... this is just a great and beautiful video. it really shows how tough your life has been and how 'Welcome To My Life' has been a really great help in helping you get through it. ...you capture what you want to capture, I guess; and congratulations for that.

lastly, thanks for posting this video; to share to the world something so they can feel less alone. probably just like how you feel when you have 'Welcome To My Life' to make you feel better about your life... and probably, yourself. :)

so... great job! and good luck on your next videos! for me, this one is just awesome; not only the message, but also the quality! ;D

so glad I decided to check this video several days ago when I happened to see the link from @Manye's profile. thanks to her and thanks to you, I can see this amazing and beautiful pack of emotion. X) thank you for posting this.

if I may ask, did you do all the recording on your own? ...well, if you did, I think I need to give you extra compliment for that. :) making videos sure is hard -especially if you have to direct yourself even though you don't exactly know how you look in the camera when you're playing the role- and the fact that you can make such a great video all by yourself is just amazing. great job!

I really like how the words show up. and all of the things you wrote... they're just beautiful and heart-breaking. -sigh- I'm glad you have SP and all of the great people to help you get through those days...

and the flow of this video is just... nice. it really matches with the song. all the specific scenes; how everything seems to break faster and crash harder from the bridge... you really capture the emotion and narrate the story well. you're amazing. :')

at the end, it's really interesting to read what you write and when you write them. sometimes there's a huge gap -like a year- and sometimes it's just several days. and seeing how all those words seem to connect... it's just interesting.

and the last words you put... they just close all the beautiful narration nicely. the scene they accompany is also something really powerful. I feel like clenching my fist when you did that in that scene. I just... kinda feel some of your depression and sadness. they all just... reach out, I guess.
