The boys are in the UK all week and aside from all the shows, there is a lot of action going down. Here is all that you need to know, if you don’t want to miss out on anything

Simple Plan will be taking part in a Gigwise webchat this Wednesday (16th April). The band will be talking directly to fans, so make sure you log on to www.gigwise.com from 3pm. It’s that easy, and you don’t even need to sign up to take part!

- SIMPLE PLAN TO MEET UK FANS @ LONDON FOPP

We’re delighted to announce that Simple Plan will celebrate the success of their recent self-titled album, with a signing session at FOPP’s Earlham Street store in London’s Covent Garden on Friday 18th April!

Fans can pick up free wristbands at FOPP’s Covent Garden store which will allow them access to the event. Wristbands will be available only from the participating store from 8am on the day of the event onwards. One wristband per customer maximum, in person only, while stocks last, subject to availability, at the participating store only.

- HMV SIGNINGS AROUND THE UK

Tuesday 15th April - HMV Glasgow, Argyle Street - 6pm - TODAY!
Wednesday 16th April - HMV Manchester, Market Street - 6pm
Monday 21st April - HMV Bristol, Broadmead - 6pm

On Sunday, the guys had a day off from shows and after a long drive from Milan to Barcelona everyone was off for the afternoon and the evening. David had the brilliant idea of renting some scooters and 7 of us spent the whole day riding around the city. We saw the beach, the famous churches, the Olympic site as well as every single little street we could find. Definately a lot of fun and although driving on the highway with one hand may not of been the smartest idea, I did it and have the video to prove it. Check out the day-off fun, but don’t try this at home!

We are super excited to present to you the new video for “Your Love Is A Lie”. The clip was shot in Los Angeles a little over a month ago with Wayne Isham and after a bunch of different cuts, it’s finally perfect and ready to be shared and shown to the world. We hope that you guys will like it as much as we do and we can’t wait to hear what you think so please leave a comment a let us know your first impressions.

Milan, Part1:
SP just hit the stage here in Milan, but the day started way earlier today, when they went to MTV for an interview. As they were leaving the venue, the boys were happy to finally see a little of sun and talk about… mustaches?!?

The guys were in Milan today and got to see the new video for the first time, on MTV Italy. The video will be premiering all over the world in the next few days, so here are a few days and times to remember.

US Video Premiere: TOMORROW, April 8th, only on AOL.com

In Canada, MuchMusic will premiere “Your Love is A Lie” video today on MOD and MusiquePlus will premiere the video tomorrow afternoon on “Plus sur Comande”

This week, the guys approved the final version of the new video for “Your Love Is A Lie”. While the video is finally done, we still don’t have a date for the premiere, so keep check in for that. I don’t like spreading rumors so I will let the guys do it themselves… check out the boys in this video and how maybe somewhere perhaps somehow, you too can preview the new vid.

The tour is now going along in full force after the tour starters in Finland and Sweden. The guys played Copenhagen and Amsterdam and today, the trek is in Germany for the first of a few shows here. It’s been rainy for a few days so that kind of sucks, but hey it’s better than snow. For the first few shows, a really cool band called Elliot Minor has been opening for the guys and not only are they a great band, they are great guys as well so you should check ‘em out for sure. Tonight, our fellow Canadian friend Justin Nozuka is also joining the tour, so should be fun… The backstage area is getting cramped!
