    "C'est avec regret que nous devons annoncer l'annulation de notre spectacle
    du 17 juin prochain au Bataclan de Paris. Pour des raisons familiales
    imprévues, nous sommes dans l'impossibilité d'être présent pour ce
    spectacle. Nous sommes évidemment très déçu et nous tenons à nous excuser
    à tous nos fans français qui planifiaient assister au concert. Ce n'est

  • You may have noticed a Twitter photo of Jeff and Seb wearing spiffy suits this morning, and not without a special occasion!

    Simple Plan has been chosen as one of the sixty recipients of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, as presented by His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Govenor General of Canada! SP is being honoured and dressed with these medals for their work with the Simple Plan Foundation. The medal is awarded to deserving Canadians to recognize and celebrate their contributions and achievements, as well as their dedication of service to fellow citizens, the community and their country.

  • It's no secret that Simple Plan will be in Toronto during Canadian Music Week. The guys will be at the Canadian Music & Broadcast Industry Awards where they will be presented with the Allan Slaight Humanitarian Award for their work with the Simple Plan Foundation.

    Canadian Music Week isn't all about awards shows though, the conference panels are a huge part of the event and it's been revealed that Chuck will be speaking on two panels on March 21st! The first will be a case study on breaking borders with international touring, and the second will take a look at artist entrepreneurship. If you'll be at the conferences, they are panels you'll definitely not want to miss!

  • Across the country, Canada is gearing up for "Canada Reads", a battle-of-the-books where five Canadian personalities select the one book they think all Canadians should read. This past Friday, CBC's Homerun recorded live from Montreal with guest host, actor Jay Baruchel and a special appearance by Jeff on the music panel!

  • Congratulations to Simple Plan as they've landed a nomination for SOCAN Song of the Year with "Summer Paradise" at the upcoming Canadian Radio Music Awards!


    The CRMAs are part of the Canadian Music Week festivities, where the guys will also be honoured with the Allan Slaight Humanitarian Award for their work with the Simple Plan Foundation. It's going to be a crazy week!

  • There's nothing short about the awesome job Simple Plan do on their Twitter and social networks - which is exactly the reason why they're in the running for a Shorty Award!! What's a Shorty? It's only the coolest award recognizing the best in social media as voted by you!

    The guys are currently in 9th place for "Best Band in Social Media", and to secure a nomination they need your help to take a spot in the Top 6.
