Everyone’s been buzzing about the Simple Plan book and today we’ve got a special sneak at the cover and a link where you can officially pre-order your copy!

The boys are super excited for you to see everything that they’ve been working on for the last few months, you’re going to love it. This book is part album, part scrapbook, with special interviews and a remarkable collection of artefacts from the band’s personal archives. “Simple Plan: The Official Story” is a definitive history of not only Simple Plan from the early days, but the story of an amazing journey made by 5 friends from Montreal to incredible places all over the globe.

On November 2nd, the Montreal Science Center is launching the special exhibit "Musik: Sound And Emotion" - in collaboration with Simple Plan!
The exhibit will let you discover how music expresses a range of emotions and you'll be guided by scientists and Simple Plan as you make your own musical creation that you can share with your friends! Check out all the information on the exhibit and purchase your tickets here.
Don't forget that on November 18th, the band will also be at the Montreal Science Center for the Simple Plan Foundation benefit event. It has just been revealed that Simple Plan will be the 2013 recipient of the Allan Slaight Humanitarian Award during Canadian Music Week! The award is being given to the band for their ongoing work and fundraising efforts with the Simple Plan Foundation to support youth welfare.
"Simple Plan's worldwide success is a testament to their spirit and tenacity as one of this country's best and brightest bands. These five guys from Montreal are truly inspiring with their dedication to give back to youth struggling with adulthood and youth living with illness. The creation of the Simple Plan Foundation very early in their career is a reflection of the connection they have with their audience and the world their fans live in.My father and I are delighted to present them with the Allan Slaight Humanitarian Award", commented Gary Slaight, President and CEO of Slaight Communications.
Chuck says, "we have been very privileged to have the chance to live all of our dreams thanks to our band. We are extremely grateful to all of our fans who have been supporting us for the last ten years and who are the main inspiration behind the Simple Plan Foundation. The Foundation is our way to give back and help young people who might not have had the same opportunities as us. It has been one of the most rewarding experience of our lives and we look forward to continue what we started for the rest of our career.”

It's official - there's just one month left until the next Simple Plan Foundation event in Montreal! This year, the band has something really special planned for Sunday November 18th at the Montreal Science Center in Old Port.
This year's fundraiser will be a day spent celebrating music the connection we have to music, through the Montreal Science Center's special exhibit "Musik: From Sound to Emotion". Hosted by Éric Salvail and Isabelle Racicot, the day will also include a silent auction and an acoustic performance by Simple Plan. All tickets for the event will include admission to a very special exhibit celebrating Simple Plan's 10th anniversary.
A limited number of tickets are still available, don't miss out on this amazing chance to see these special exhibits and to support the Simple Plan Foundation.

Simple Plan has been nominated for the Yahoo! Canada Canadian Impact Award, which recognizes those who have "punched above their weight to make an impact here at home and on the world stage", for their dedication and ongoing work with the Simple Plan Foundation.
