J'ai 24 ans, je suis fan depuis 8 ans maintenant, depuis le jour où j'ai entendu Welcome to my life la première fois (2004) depuis j'ai pas décroché, je les ai vu 5 fois sur scène en France, dont 4 sur la tournée GYHO! et j'ai eu la chance de les rencontrer avec le SPcrew sur 3 dates.
Je les adore parce qu'ils sont adorable, très drôle mais aussi très accessible. Grâce à eux j'ai rencontré plein de fans avec qui je discute souvent et j'ai pu partager ces derniers concerts avec des filles aussi folles que moi !!
Je les remercierai jamais assez de ce qu'ils ont fait pour moi dans ma vie et j'espère les revoir prochainement en France !

Yeah I was the same when I first heard "Anything Else But Here", but now I like it because it is a very...sort of relaxing song I guess you could say. & I can relate to the lyrics :D
It's so good that you got the CD! I love the photos in the album booklet...they are so funny :P
And yes I have to take the train to work every morning...otherwise I would be stuck in traffic for hours :( I don't mind taking the train, it's more tiring than anything else because it takes nearly an hour to get there everyday. And the trains are always full of people!
So when do you start teaching?? :)

Oh okay I understand, don't worry, I can only reply at night because I work all day! 9am-5.30pm...and I take the train to work so I leave my house at 7.20am and then don't get home until 6.30pm... otherwise I would reply sooner!
Oh wow! That's a long time, it's good to see you like it so much. I tried playing guitar, and I played the drums for 2 years but ended up giving it up because of school.... I couldn't do my lessons and do school at the same time, it was too much for me. I miss it though! I also tried playing violin, and the trumpet lol. But they didn't work out so well :P

And no I haven't received my SP Crew pack yet :( It has been a few weeks since I paid for it and it definately came out of my bank account so if I don't get it in the next week I might email them. But hopefully it comes soon! :) And I hope your Ultimate Fan Bundle comes soon too! :)

I completely agree with you, with what you said about hobbies and passions. Clarinette sounds interesting, how long have you been playing for? I have tried all sorts of different instruments in the pas, but never really stuck to playing just one. It's sad, because I wish I stuck to playing something, but I just gave up in the end.
LOL! I do that all the time :) I was listening to Jet Lag while I was driving one day and I was dancing in my car and I got a few strange looks from people! But I don't mind because it's SP and they make me happy :)

Yes, we get 40°C... I think the highest we have had in the past couple of years is 45°C... and yes, we burn! It gets so hot!
That sounds like a nice university! Sometimes it is better with the smaller campuses in my opinion...otherwise you get lost! Lol. But I hope you do well!
I used to do a course at "TAFE"...which is like University, but it is more practical work than written work, that is the only difference. I did an animal related course, but decided that I didn't want my career to head that way because it was more of a hobby than a passion, if you know what I mean.
I agree! I wish more people would listen to SP too...it's silly how people don't give them a chance because they think their music is for teenagers.

Hep! Désolé de mon "absence", j'ai quelques problèmes en ce moment. ^^ Mais non, je n'ai pas reçu l'album!!!! J'ai passé la semaine à aller chercher le courrier en espérant le trouver mais rien. Je suppose qu'il faut un peu de temps pour qu'il traverse les mers et continents... J'ai reçu le poster ce matin par contre, le reste ne devrait pas trop tarder je pense. T'as vraiment rien reçu?
Et vive la version numérique hein? :p Pour ma part, je préfère attendre un peu et l'avoir même 2 semaines après plutôt que de l'acheter en magasin. Juste pour avoir le sentiment d'avoir un album plus "particulier" car acheté sur le net. xD N'empêche, on avait raison, l'artwork est vraiment super. =)

Ohh I see now, see when you said it's Summer over there I thought it would be like 30°C or 40°C which is how hot it gets here in Australia in Summer! But 16°C is nice! We are getting around that at the moment too and today I think is going to be 14°C or so. It's sunny at the moment though which is nice! :)

Don't worry, at least you are getting some money. I had 2 cleaning jobs before the job I have now and they didn't earn a lot either but it was just something until I got more working hours.
That's so good that your brother enjoyed them! I wish more people would give SP the chance and listen to their music instead of just assuming that they "have teenage music". Because I think most people would find that their music isn't just aimed at teenagers. Especially their latest album, which is amazing!

Yes I can understand that, that is very irritating when people say that Simple Plan are a band for teenagers especially when they mean so much to us and have helped us get through our teenage years.. Yes they're songs are very pop, but that's what great about them! And not to sound mean, but I don't think Simple Plan's new album is the same as their old music. Every song on this new album is different and amazing in it's own way and that's what I love about them. But I get the same thing, as in when people ask me what my favourite band is and I say Simple Plan, they are like "but they are for kids" and it irritates me because their music is aimed at so many different types of people and even though I am nearly 20 years old, they still help me & make me feel better so it annoys me when people say things like that!

I know, GYHO is amazing! It's that you can still listen to it online though, because you didn't have to wait to hear it. My favourite songs are (even though it is really hard to choose) "This Song Saved My Life" and "Can't Keep My Hands Off You". I like how all the songs are very different from each other but they are all so good!
We have bad weather in Australia too! At the moment it is Winter, and so it is very very cold and wet and windy, so at the moment I am sitting by the fire while writing this :)
No I didn't get to watch MMVA :( I saw photos, because the band kept posting them on Twitter & on here, how funny were their outfits! LOL I love those costumes :P All their photoshoots so far have been so funny! I love how they can be so funny but have a serious side to them as well. They are amazing

I DID get "Get Your Heart On!", it turns out it came out on the 17th of June is Australia, and it is amazing! You will love it :)
I have so many favourite songs on their album, especially 'This Song Saved My Life", because like you, every lyric in that song I can relate to and I love knowing that because of Simple Plan I am not alone.
At the moment it is 7.00am here in Australia.. and I can't wait for the SP Crew pack! Yes, it comes with a T-Shirt, autographed photos & guitar picks.... and I think for being a member you get special things like the chance to meet them, chance to appear in future videos, and more.. it tells you what you get once you sign up! I am so excited! :)

I made that video because I wanted SP to know personally what they have done for me, how they have helped me & how much I love them. I'm glad you watched it and can relate to what I have been through!
I'm sorry to hear that you were bullied in school :( Like I said in my video, I used to have things thrown at me, I used to have people calling me names and teasing me to all their friends, it's just horrible.
And even if you didn't have SP then, you have them now & I know they have helped you so much since then! They also help you get over the things that happened in school because they are such an inspiration... for example in "A Big Package For You" at the end when they are talking about their haters and how they couldn't care less about them or what they say, it's so inspiring that they don't let anyone bring them down.
Yeah I'm not sure, normally CD's and movies and dvd's come out later in Australia, but now that you have mentioned that to me, I might go to the store and check! :)
I am still waiting though for my SP Crew pack, because I joined them last week and I am so excited for my tshirt and merchandise!! :D
LOL that's so cool about the languages, and how they play your shows in French. I have heard the French version of Jet Lag, and it is just as amazing as the English version! I love it!
I have seen SP in concert, it was years ago, I think in 2005 or 2006 I saw them, I can't remember. But it was amazing & I will never forget it! :)
Yeah, SP are so funny, I love how they keep changing their site, they are so funny & always make me laugh but at the same time they always make me happy when I'm sad, I'm just addicted to them!

Il est vraiment bien. "Astronaut" est encore mieux en version finie. Le live est bien, mais bon, y'a quant même des filles qui trouvent le moyen de crier et puis... c'est un live quoi. J'ai vraiment été surprise par les autres chansons. Ca change, mais pas trop. Ils ont vraiment bien bossés sur le coup. =)
Parmi toutes les chansons qu'on avaient pas entendues, tu préfères laquelle? J'ai totalement craqué sur "Last One Standing".
Et j'ai vu ce matin qu'il y avait aussi des avatars GYHO disponibles sur le site. ^^ Question communication, ils ont vraiment bien fait leur truc pour cet album. Il ne reste plus qu'à avoir l'album en papier et plastique et je serai au nirvana. xD

La version de Jet Lag live, acoustique et française est vraiment cool comme tu l'avais dit. Et la deuxième... wow. J'ignorais que Pierre s'était fait faire un 2° tatouage. Je pensais au début qu'ils avaient photoshopé la photo du design "The Simple Plans". Le tatoo de Seb est donc certainement vrai aussi. Je mourrai moins bête. ^^

Oui des chansons calmes et jolies en allemand ça existe. x) Ecoute "Geboren Um Zu Leben" de Unheilig ou "Ein Lied" de Rammstein -entre autre. Quoi que c'était peut être une question réthorique... ^^
J'ai tellement hâte d'être lundi pour avoir "Freaking Me Out" que j'ai prévu de traîner jusqu'à pas d'heure pour l'avoir. N'importe quoi... Le pire c'est qu'on la déjà écoutée. XD
Ah oui, les paroles de Freaking Me Out sont plus profondes qu'on ne pourrait le penser. J'ai tendance à écouter la musique en tenant compte juste de ce que je ressent et à ne pas vraiment m'intéresser aux paroles... Si je comprend, c'est bien, sinon tant pis. Mais bon, je me débrouille vraiment bien en anglais. :p
Sinon niveau musique, je ne suit pas beaucoup de groupes. Simple Plan est le premier groupe auquel je me suis vraiment intéresser, et c'est resté. A vrai dire, je n'écoute pas vraiment de musique anglosaxonne. ^^ Mon truc c'est Rammstein. -non, ce n'est pas une musique de sauvage- Après j'écoute quelques autres trucs comme Emigrate, Eisbrecher, Oomph!, Unheilig, Feeling B ou The Inchtabokatables. Je n'aime pas trop les chansons anglaises, je trouve les voix allemandes -plus graves généralement- beaucoup plus agréables à écouter. Mais SP, c'est SP. =)
J'ai pris aussi l'ultimate fan bundle. Quand on aime on ne compte pas... x) Non sérieusement, j'ai comparé les offres 300 ans et comme je voulais vraiment le poster, j'ai dit "je le prend". Dommage, il ne sera pas dédicacé...

Je suis d'un peu partout mais attaché à Châlons en Champagne (marne) depuis quelques années. C'est vraiment bien de voir des français sur ce site. Tout le monde parle anglais pour se comprendre. J'avais même l'impression à un moment que les SP avaient un peu oubliés leur langue natale... Jet Lag rattrape tout ça. =) La version française est vraiment excellente!
Pour moi, Get Your Heart On! sera vraiment leur meilleur album.

Ohh I see now, see when you said it's Summer over there I thought it would be like 30°C or 40°C which is how hot it gets here in Australia in Summer! But 16°C is nice! We are getting around that at the moment too and today I think is going to be 14°C or so. It's sunny at the moment though which is nice! :)

Don't worry, at least you are getting some money. I had 2 cleaning jobs before the job I have now and they didn't earn a lot either but it was just something until I got more working hours.
That's so good that your brother enjoyed them! I wish more people would give SP the chance and listen to their music instead of just assuming that they "have teenage music". Because I think most people would find that their music isn't just aimed at teenagers. Especially their latest album, which is amazing!

Yes I can understand that, that is very irritating when people say that Simple Plan are a band for teenagers especially when they mean so much to us and have helped us get through our teenage years.. Yes they're songs are very pop, but that's what great about them! And not to sound mean, but I don't think Simple Plan's new album is the same as their old music. Every song on this new album is different and amazing in it's own way and that's what I love about them. But I get the same thing, as in when people ask me what my favourite band is and I say Simple Plan, they are like "but they are for kids" and it irritates me because their music is aimed at so many different types of people and even though I am nearly 20 years old, they still help me & make me feel better so it annoys me when people say things like that!

I know, GYHO is amazing! It's that you can still listen to it online though, because you didn't have to wait to hear it. My favourite songs are (even though it is really hard to choose) "This Song Saved My Life" and "Can't Keep My Hands Off You". I like how all the songs are very different from each other but they are all so good!
We have bad weather in Australia too! At the moment it is Winter, and so it is very very cold and wet and windy, so at the moment I am sitting by the fire while writing this :)
No I didn't get to watch MMVA :( I saw photos, because the band kept posting them on Twitter & on here, how funny were their outfits! LOL I love those costumes :P All their photoshoots so far have been so funny! I love how they can be so funny but have a serious side to them as well. They are amazing

I DID get "Get Your Heart On!", it turns out it came out on the 17th of June is Australia, and it is amazing! You will love it :)
I have so many favourite songs on their album, especially 'This Song Saved My Life", because like you, every lyric in that song I can relate to and I love knowing that because of Simple Plan I am not alone.
At the moment it is 7.00am here in Australia.. and I can't wait for the SP Crew pack! Yes, it comes with a T-Shirt, autographed photos & guitar picks.... and I think for being a member you get special things like the chance to meet them, chance to appear in future videos, and more.. it tells you what you get once you sign up! I made that video because I wanted SP to know personally what they have done for me, how they have helped me & how much I love them. I'm glad you watched it and can relate to what I have been through!
I'm sorry to hear that you were bullied in school :( Like I said in my video, I used to have things thrown at me, I used to have people calling me names and teasing me to all their friends, it's just horrible.
And even if you didn't have SP then, you have them now & I know they have helped you so much since then! They also help you get over the things that happened in school because they are such an inspiration... for example in "A Big Package For You" at the end when they are talking about their haters and how they couldn't care less about them or what they say, it's so inspiring that they don't let anyone bring them down.
Yeah I'm not sure, normally CD's and movies and dvd's come out later in Australia, but now that you have mentioned that to me, I might go to the store and check! :)
I am still waiting though for my SP Crew pack, because I joined them last week and I am so excited for my tshirt and merchandise!! :D
LOL that's so cool about the languages, and how they play your shows in French. I have heard the French version of Jet Lag, and it is just as amazing as the English version! I love it!
I have seen SP in concert, it was years ago, I think in 2005 or 2006 I saw them, I can't remember. But it was amazing & I will never forget it! :)
Yeah, SP are so funny, I love how they keep changing their site, they are so funny & always make me laugh but at the same time they always make me happy when I'm sad, I'm just addicted to them!

Il est vraiment bien. "Astronaut" est encore mieux en version finie. Le live est bien, mais bon, y'a quant même des filles qui trouvent le moyen de crier et puis... c'est un live quoi. J'ai vraiment été surprise par les autres chansons. Ca change, mais pas trop. Ils ont vraiment bien bossés sur le coup. =)
Parmi toutes les chansons qu'on avaient pas entendues, tu préfères laquelle? J'ai totalement craqué sur "Last One Standing".
Et j'ai vu ce matin qu'il y avait aussi des avatars GYHO disponibles sur le site. ^^ Question communication, ils ont vraiment bien fait leur truc pour cet album. Il ne reste plus qu'à avoir l'album en papier et plastique et je serai au nirvana. xD

En ce qui concerne Astronaut, j'adore cette chanson. T'aurais jamais du me passer le lien, c'est le seul truc -ou presque- que j'écoute maintenant. Quant au design... J'aime beaucoup. C'est vrai que ça fait un peu enfantin mais comme tu dis, ça colle avec la pochette et puis l'ambiance de cet album je trouve. J'essaie de trouver quel membre aurait écrit les paroles à la main. La version de Jet Lag live, acoustique et française est vraiment cool comme tu l'avais dit. Et la deuxième... wow. J'ignorais que Pierre s'était fait faire un 2° tatouage. Je pensais au début qu'ils avaient photoshopé la photo du design "The Simple Plans". Le tatoo de Seb est donc certainement vrai aussi. Je mourrai moins bête. ^^

Oui des chansons calmes et jolies en allemand ça existe. x) Ecoute "Geboren Um Zu Leben" de Unheilig ou "Ein Lied" de Rammstein -entre autre. Quoi que c'était peut être une question réthorique... ^^
J'ai tellement hâte d'être lundi pour avoir "Freaking Me Out" que j'ai prévu de traîner jusqu'à pas d'heure pour l'avoir. N'importe quoi... Le pire c'est qu'on la déjà écoutée. XD
Ah oui, les paroles de Freaking Me Out sont plus profondes qu'on ne pourrait le penser. J'ai tendance à écouter la musique en tenant compte juste de ce que je ressent et à ne pas vraiment m'intéresser aux paroles... Si je comprend, c'est bien, sinon tant pis. Mais bon, je me débrouille vraiment bien en anglais. :p
Sinon niveau musique, je ne suit pas beaucoup de groupes. Simple Plan est le premier groupe auquel je me suis vraiment intéresser, et c'est resté. A vrai dire, je n'écoute pas vraiment de musique anglosaxonne. ^^ Mon truc c'est Rammstein. -non, ce n'est pas une musique de sauvage- Après j'écoute quelques autres trucs comme Emigrate, Eisbrecher, Oomph!, Unheilig, Feeling B ou The Inchtabokatables. Je n'aime pas trop les chansons anglaises, je trouve les voix allemandes -plus graves généralement- beaucoup plus agréables à écouter. Mais SP, c'est SP. =)
J'ai pris aussi l'ultimate fan bundle. Quand on aime on ne compte pas... x) Non sérieusement, j'ai comparé les offres 300 ans et comme je voulais vraiment le poster, j'ai dit "je le prend". Dommage, il ne sera pas dédicacé...

Qu'est ce que tu écoutes sinon comme groupe mis à part SP?
Je suis d'un peu partout mais attaché à Châlons en Champagne (marne) depuis quelques années. C'est vraiment bien de voir des français sur ce site. Tout le monde parle anglais pour se comprendre. J'avais même l'impression à un moment que les SP avaient un peu oubliés leur langue natale... Jet Lag rattrape tout ça. =) La version française est vraiment excellente!
Pour moi, Get Your Heart On! sera vraiment leur meilleur album.
