About Me:
I’m a girl who definitely loves music, and really believes that a song can heal a broken heart. Obviously, Simple Plan is my favorite band, and I just can’t find the words to express what they mean to me. There’s something that I feel when I listen to their songs, that I don’t feel with any other singer or band. Doesn’t matter if I’m sad, angry, upset, bored… they always help me getting through it. Their music is perfect and I always relate myself to their lyrics, which is why they have such a special meaning to me. I'm just another fan who deeply wants to thanks Pierre, Seb, David, Jeff and Chuck for everything they’ve been doing not only for me, but to all of the astronauts in the world.
Hobbies:
I love watching series, reading and sometimes drawing.
Favorite Bands:
Besides Simple Plan, I like Avril Lavigne, Avenged Sevenfold, Kate Voegele, Big Time Rush, Incubus and The Pretty Reckless.
Country:
Brazil
Name:
Mayara
Favorite Concert You've Been To:
When I saw Simple Plan for the first time, on October 16 \o/
What's your favorite Simple Plan song?:
Hard to choose, but I think it's I Can Wait Forever. The lyric of this song is so sincere, we can see that someone's feelings are expressed there, and it combines perfectly with the rhythm... I always get emotional when I hear this song.

cool to imagine you playing some SP tunes with the guitar now... haha. and I think I can see that some poetries are just best to stay as poetries. :)

well, that sure is interesting. thanks for telling me. and about the lunch... I don't think it's like the lunch in some US' series. we just basically brought things from home or buy food from outside or the canteen and eat them in class. we don't have free food like the schools in US. not my school, at least. so... does that mean that you don't have any recess for approximately five hours and twenty minutes? cause that sure seems tough, for me... :/

let's hope together, then. ;) and thank you back and thanks for thinking that it's interesting. I usually like games cause they have story -just like books and series- and it feels more... interactive, I guess. heh.

about the happiness thing... yeah, I guess in some ways we can say that it's just the same as searching for something that we can find when we stop searching for it, or maybe that we already have. not sure, but it all sure is worth reflecting. :D

thanks. so happy to hear that you're okay with helping me. :') and also thank you back for the Indonesian words. well... I'm not entirely sure about this, but after seeing the MTV interview, I think our pronunciations aren't that different! well, at least how to spell the vocal alphabets doesn't seem to differ that much. I have a feeling you can say 'terima kasih' just fine. the 'kasih' actually sounds a bit like 'caxi' in 'abacaxi', if David pronounced it right. 8)

heh. well, then, obrigado por vosso opinião. not sure if google translated it right, though. I guess not. X'D -slapped-

and thank you. :') I've visited your tumblr and I sure love the stuff you reblogged and apparently its skin. the skulls are just so cute that they create a sweet pattern that I think would look good on a jacket.

also, thank you so much for saying all that. -sigh- the same goes to you. thank you. ;)

traces of teacups's picture

well, let's do our best to reach our dreams, then! :'D and... my dreams? well, thanks for asking, but I'm actually still a bit confused. I mean, I would love to be a writer someday, but doing illustration also looks like a lot of fun. even music sounds so cool after I knew SP. haha. but probably writer -or illustrator-. that's what I really wanna do. :'D and if you don't mind me asking too, then it'd be really cool for me to hear about yours. you're an interesting person, after all. :)

haha, sure is. and yeah, I guess it's the beauty of interpretation, after all. probably the reason why I love anything poetic; and emotion, poetry, music, art... they certainly are some of those stuff. X) and I think it's true that we want our creations to mean something. they sure mean a lot to us; and it'd be even cooler if it can mean something to someone else, too. I'm with you on this.

well, I think it's a sign that you have such supportive sister and best friend there. glad they can see more of you through your poetries. ;) and... I do show some of my old poetries -really few- to my friend back on junior high. I haven't shown the latest ones to anybody; and that's probably why I wanna to turn them into songs, somehow.

actually, my latest poetries are written with some random tunes in my head in the first place. it has been quite a long time since I wrote any poetry -and I rarely write something in English, too- but the first months I knew SP, I got so inspired by them I finished a lot. X'D haha.

and yeah, I guess the instrument sure is something hard to learn; not to add the truth about the chance to be able to write song that you mentioned. despite all that, thank you so much for all the motivation you gave. I hope you can accomplish the things you want to as well. ;)

hey, that's cool that you have some interest in guitar! :D it sure is a cool instrument. my brother has one even though it's not used that much. heh. wish you the best on the learning process, then.

Uchi Lefebvre's picture

Sama-sama Mayara :) (You are welcome) ^^

MonicaSP's picture

You're welcome ! ;)

traces of teacups's picture

and thanks for the help... again. haha. I'd be happy if I can give back somehow so that I don't seem to really trouble you, so thanks for the response. I also see that you've been talking to a nice girl from Indonesia these late days, so perhaps you could apply the things I told you. :P heh.

anyway, 'thank you' is 'terima kasih', 'hello' is 'halo' or 'hai', and 'goodbye' is 'selamat tinggal'. a little note, though: in my opinion, 'selamat tinggal' sounds a bit... impolite to say to someone whom we wanna meet again -it's like a real goodbye, as far as I know ^_^;-, so I guess it's nicer to say 'sampai jumpa', which means 'see you'. hope that helps and thanks for asking me all this. :D

and... ah... that random sketch I did in class? -___-; I... erm... thank you... I'm so happy to hear that, so thank you so much for such a sweet feedback.

and, haha, I did submit two pics to tumblr before -including the one you commented about-, but I'm afraid I don't have one... I guess I don't make one cause I don't think it'll be put to much use since I already use blogspot... ^_^; heh. anyway, if you want to, then maybe you can tell me about your tumblr. I love checking on people's tumblr once in a while. it's fun to see a variety of posts and reblogs they have. XD well, in the end, thank you for the thought.

thank you, too. ;)

traces of teacups's picture

thank you. :'D and yeah, I guess he does say random stuffs in a lot of videos... it's like there's always something completely funny and interesting going in his head. haha. -slapped-

and I don't know about it, but thank you so much -and for the answer, too-. XD I still think it's a mere luck, though. heh... and yeah, I'm also glad that I know it now. I guess I'm a little affected by the fact that we call 'South America' with 'Latin America' here... ^_^;

yeah, I guess both the learning process and finding the teacher are quite hard, but hopefully we can learn a lot of languages so we can communicate to a lot of people in the world. but English sure is a great focus since it's widely spoken, so I agree with you. ;D

nice to know that your favorite quotes are chosen a bit subjectively, too. XD haha. -slapped-

and thank you so much. I do like to play games and the first game where the 'Humans' quote came from is a farming role-play game called 'Harvest Moon', specifically one of its series in Nintendo DS. I seem to kinda have a crush on the character that spoke the quote. X'D haha. then again, the second one came from the detective game you saw in the post in my blog. the main character's talking to a little girl and that's probably why the quote came out. :) thanks for asking.

and thank you so much for sharing the quote. I do like it and it actually remembered me of some things from a book I read a long time ago. it sure is true that we seem to find happiness more when we stop searching for it and just let them come naturally. garsh... that's a really nice share; and sounds like something that'd appear in a TV series, too. haha. thank you again for sharing it. ;)

thank you. the same goes to you and your sister. :'D

traces of teacups's picture

yeah, I guess it'd be kinda cool if one day one of us come and say 'hey, I reached my dream' and the other one responded with 'I reached mine too'. :) wonder if that'd happen... hopefully, yes. haha.

thanks for the answer; and hello there, fellow poet. XD haha. that's a really nice view. I guess in some point both of us want to make our stuffs as relatable and as true as possible... not surprising since our favorite band do the same. :P and I hope someone can read one of your poetries and gain some positive effects from it one day... or maybe someone already did? ;3

hope we can do our best to solve those blocks, then... this all writing thing sure is something spontaneous and momentary, most of the times, but I guess that's one of the fun points. :) and thank you so much for the encouragement... I do enjoy writing a lot, but yeah, that's probably the problem. I don't know how to play any instrument -properly- and I think I still have a lot to learn about the notes... I don't get a lot of stuffs like the price and all... :'D

so... do you learn about technical stuffs in music or elsewhere, somehow? :3 cause that sure is a nice base if you happen to have the dream to turn your poetries into songs, too. heh.

haha, you just describe all the fun points about notebooks! XD and it sure is cool that we can fill them with whatever we want. for me, it's just priceless when we're able to look back and laugh and stare at some things that we wrote in the past. :')

and poster? that's nice. I wonder if I can get one too one day. but in the end, thanks. I guess I need to put up something to cover the walls, but maybe when I'm not that lazy. ^_^; haha.

yeah, I'm happy too it's this way. :')

and I don't really understand what both really mean, but I think the part-time cause I only study from around half past seven in the morning till a quarter to two in the afternoon. is it harder there? ^_^;

thank you so much for understanding. hope it doesn't happen that often... haha.

Uchi Lefebvre's picture

i've been 2 years being SP fanatic Fan :) before that 2 years i just been an usual fan, then i realized how awesome their songs...since that time i started to be their fanatic fan :D
oh yeah? that's cool He is deserve to adore, and love too

Uchi Lefebvre's picture

i'm doing great, and you ?? :)

Uchi Lefebvre's picture

Hi Mayara:)

traces of teacups's picture

ah, I forgot to reply on some topics... sorry... I seem to keep making funny errors like this. X'D -laugh at myself; slapped-

so... about the quotes... they're mostly from the games that I play and maybe some other different resources like TV series, books, SP songs, or even real life people. well... most of them are probably kinda subjective cause I like the characters that said them. ^_^; haha. but here are a couple from two different games that I play:

"Humans do really think about a lot of things, don't they?" /and/ "Everyone starts out as a kid, you know?"

well... both are kinda not something focal from the games but I just like them so much. :') I don't know why. haha. maybe you have something like these too from the One Tree Hill Quotes? :3

and thank you for telling and thanks back for the listening part. ;) it sure is nice to have someone like our siblings that would listen and even converse with us in a close and friendly way. cool to hear that it's the same there between you and your sister. and yeah, I'm also like that with my brother. he inspires me with a lot of things and he's actually the one that got me to start drawing. I kinda saw him draw something and got interested too back on my late years of elementary and he also influences me on more stuffs and ideas and interests, so... yeah, I guess it's the same with your condition. ;) haha.

oh, by the way, may I know how to say 'I don't understand' in Portuguese. XD I seem to have an odd tendency to ask people about this, but... hope you won't mind to fill me with some new knowledge. feel free to ask me something too if you want. :) and thank you before.

traces of teacups's picture

ah, sorry for the load of posts of my first reply there... ^_^; odd that it got posted over and over like that... hmm... probably some problems with my internet or just my clumsiness...

anyway, I agree with your opinion cause they sure have to face a lot of interviews with different kind of questions and different kind of interviewers. :) and... garsh... it does mean that? t-thanks for telling me! 8D haha. I actually only know 'obrigado' and... erm... 'mentira', I guess -saw that in a 'Your Love is A Lie' live performance with Portuguese subtitle in it and the word is a bit funny for me that it got stuck in my head, haha; slapped-, but the phrase you gave sure have some phrases that are similar to some English words, so I probably just got lucky this time. XD

so saying, thank you so much for all the help and the share. it certainly widens my knowledge and I'm not sure if I can remember all that -sorry ^_^;- but I believe 'abacaxi' has been set into my mind right now. XD eu amo abacaxi. it's my favorite fruit. haha. -unimportant; kicked- and I can see how random David is there. and yeah, the guys sure are crazy. XD haha.

anyway, thank you again for the help. so... seeing the things you taught me, I guess 'eu' means 'I' and 'vocês' means 'you', hmm? :)

heh, thinking about it, I sure feel that my knowledge of foreign languages has been expanded since I joined this site. I even just know that people in Brazil speak Portuguese cause I thought you guys speak Latin! XD haha. -slapped-

and thank you too for telling. I love learning about languages out there. ;)

traces of teacups's picture

yeah, I can relate to that... predicting stuffs can be fun sometimes, but I guess we shouldn't forever basing stuffs on predictions. heh.

also cool to know that they enjoy living this dream of theirs so much. hope we can live our dreams too someday and work hard every single day for them. X)

haha. I can imagine. it certainly can be really confusing and kinda overwhelming to be in such a big crowd. it's just so easy to get lost and even stuck in the middle of the crowd where it's hard to get out! X'D -slapped-

thank you for the answer. it sure is nice to capture momentary feelings as much as possible. :) so... about the things you write, were they like words that most people would write in their diary or were they something like poetry instead? :3

personally and to answer your question, I think both are interesting but I enjoy writing poetries more -although I write the feelings thing like you more cause I tend to get a lot of blocks ^_^;-. I have a dream to give some melodies and turn them into song, but since I don't understand music that much, no luck on that so far. XD I also write fanfictions and my dream on that would probably to write something for SP someday. :) thank you for asking.

that's interesting. ;D thanks for telling. notebooks sure are easy to bring everywhere. and I think I can imagine a nice and clean wall. I need to put something to cover up the peeled paints on my wall, though. ^_^; but I'm too lazy. haha. but I can see the upside of the notebook. would be nice too if we can put it under the pillow or just beside our bed, I guess. X)

haha. sorry about that. XD I wonder what can we do to make it less addictive, though... and yeah, it sure is true. glad both of us can have a close relationship with our siblings, then. ;) I mean, it sure is more heartbreaking when we're upset or when they're upset of us, but in the end... we sure feel happy to have them around... -sigh-

and, heh, school sure is a pain when we don't even like the subject. ^_^;

traces of teacups's picture

heh, it sure was a pain. internet is pretty addictive... I can really understand why Chuck brought his gadgets everywhere now, for sure. haha. and I wonder if I would do that too if the video comes not when school's about to start; bothering my brother, I mean. well... I guess it's everyone's job to accept the bothering nature that their siblings may have, after all... it's nice that they still stick with us until the end. :'3

ah, yeah... we all sure have... ^_^; I like studying, too; but mostly when I understand about the subject. predictable enough. XD -slapped-

haha. I guess so... ^_^; and I can expect that. good thing the guys seem to be okay with the interviewers... and I finished the videos and I do notice David saying something like that. so, erm... just a random guess, but does it mean 'a music collaboration in a song called Jet Lag with a female singer Natasha Bedingfield'? not sure, though... XD haha. and yeah, the girls probably didn't expect David to understand.

by the way, may I ask you what Pierre and David were saying in the middle of the first video? :3 something like... 'abachi' and there're even more phrases, I believe. thank you before. :D

and nice to hear that you have. I love it when David kinda messes up with Jeff and Pierre in the video. it's so hard to not notice even though the interview is kinda engaging, in my opinion. ;) heh.

lastly, thank you back and I do feel happy too for sharing my thoughts. thank you for giving me the chance and for sharing some of yours as well. obrigado. :)

traces of teacups's picture

yeah, basically cause some things in our lives just go out of the plan, so... I guess it's really possible for things to happen differently if this dream of ours ever come true. ^_^; haha.

I think so, too. XD it's like a really cool life with lots of great sources of happiness. but I guess it takes a lot of hard work too, so they surely deserve it. :)

sounds like a really cool festival. I can't imagine how hard it'll be to breathe in such crowd. XD and wow... that's really amazing that they have a vegetarian food court. I love vegetarian foods. ;) I hope I can eat more of them. haha. anyway, yeah, I believe all that. I never know Brazil people -specifically the astronauts- are pretty much hysterical before, though, so... definitely something new to learn about. XD

and sure. hope you will. :)

thanks back and for answering. it's all fun to know. what kind of things you write, if I may know? :3 and I can see all that. I guess we do fanart for stuffs that we love the most, so music sure seems to be the most prominent one for you. and yeah, amazing how art can translate and express one's emotion and opinion. it's always nice to have our perspective widened.

and interesting about the One Tree Hill's quotes. maybe I should do something like that, too. heh. I mean, I have a few quotes that I like too from different places, so maybe I should start doing something like what you do. :) if I may know more, do you put all of them on your walls or...? thanks before. heh.

yeah, I can see that; and that's a nice point! my brother should stand me, too, then. XD -slapped- but I guess it's always fun to talk about stuffs we love. sometimes me and my brother make fun of some shows, even our favorite ones and it's a lot of fun. do you do that too with your sister; on One Tree Hill, maybe? :)

and I am glad, too. also, thanks for listening to me all this time. ;)

traces of teacups's picture

you do? that's nice to know. :) and yeah, it sure is unimaginable and interesting. and about my brother, thanks for asking and I think it's the same with your case. well, he watches a few -real few, haha- vlogs and draws two cool pics of Chuck; but apart from that, only the music, I believe.

...now I start to wonder if he ever feels burdened if I talk about SP too much sometimes. well, he doesn't look annoyed, but... I guess it can get overwhelming if he doesn't follow SP that close, now that I think again... ^_^; do you often talk of SP a lot with your sister, if I may know?

haha. thank you so much for sharing. it's so hard to concentrate on school that day! XD -slapped- and thank you for asking... well, since I'm ten hours earlier from you, it came on four AM the next day. I don't know till when I stay up the day before but I remember I have to study for a test, but I didn't and spent that whole day waiting cluelessly instead. XD and when I woke up again on three AM the next day in hope I could take some time to study and check the video, it came an hour later and I got so excited I watched it over and over and spent time in the internet until six. in the end, I didn't study much. haha. :'D

...I don't think I'll study if there's no video either, though. -such a lazy student; kicked-

and I can see what you mean by 'Astronaut' being touching and meaningful. it sure seems to be one of the fans' favorites from GYHO. :)

smart, haha. but it sure can be confusing if one doesn't understand the language, so I guess it's up to our ability to read gestures and expression and stuffs. Seb seems to have a nice skill on that. :) and thanks back. it was a lot of fun and thanks for letting me to help. X') and yeah... it sure wouldn't be obvious if it wasn't for the added effects. I wonder if people around the world will start to 'prank' the guys this way too if they get the chance to interview the guys and if their main language isn't English or French. :P heh.

traces of teacups's picture

thank you for telling me that. :D wow... it sure doesn't change much... but I think I can imagine the pronunciation being different; although I know more of Spanish pronunciation and not Portuguese... ^_^; anyway, thanks again for sharing.

and thank you so much for the link! ;) haha... garsh... when you first sent me it, I couldn't help but to laugh. turns out I've watched it before and I stopped at a certain point but I think I've seen the guys saying a few stuffs in Portuguese. I don't think it's boring and I'd want to continue, but the main reason I stopped back then is actually the fact that I found the interviewers kinda annoying, too. ^_^; haha. -that's why I'm literally laughing when you said that you think they're a little annoying; slapped-

well, sorry, girls... ^_^; but I actually can't really watch now cause my internet seems to spend a lot of time loading videos from Youtube, so... hopefully someday. thank you for recommending. :)

and I actually watched another interview they did with a girl for a show called Mix TV or something, if I remember it right. the interviewer there sounds a lot nicer, in my opinion, and I do enjoy that one. the guys are so mischievous, funny, and I love their expressions after the lady translated the interview to Portuguese there. XD -slapped-

and thank you for offering to help. maybe I'll ask for some if the loading isn't this long anymore... usually it's not in the morning, so maybe tomorrow when school's off... hope I remember, haha. -slapped-

also thank you so much for not minding and for saying all that. thank you too for sharing stuffs with me and for listening. I'm so happy to be able to talk to you again. ;)

traces of teacups's picture

thanks for answering. I guess all the astronauts dream of the same, too, then... and yeah, I guess we can't help it, after all. ...a risk of having such great heroes, maybe? XD haha. ...wonder if we'll say or do the exact thing we imagined if, perhaps, we really meet them one day, though.

and I agree with you on all that. if I may know, besides doing lyrics page or editing, do you have any other art-related hobbies? :)

I mean... I kinda poured a lot of my feelings too in my creations but it was after I knew SP that I understand how much power a creation can have to inspire others. they really inspire me and I guess that shows in my latest things I wrote, I guess... so... I wonder if that affects your creations, too; although I can see that it already affects you in your ways of seeing life.

thank you before and hopefully I don't alter the topic that much up there. XD haha.

but yeah, it's cool that fame and money are never their priority. they seem to have such good time helping people with their lives through their songs, words, and actions. :) and that sounds like a really amazing life to live for me. heh.

ah, thanks for explaining first. I think I've heard of SWU from this site before; and from the vlogs I've seen, the festival seems to have way more crowds than the concert I attended. no wonder it needs to be held on an open place. :D wow, they sure have lots of fans there in Brazil. I even read an interview Jeff did once where he said that the fans in Brazil could easily notice them when they're walking in the street and would even lock them into buildings. haha. -slapped-

nice to know that you already have some views cause of the concert, by the way. but I think it feels a lot different to be there on your own, so... heh.

traces of teacups's picture

and thank you back for watching and telling me your thoughts about it. :') haha. the interviewer has always been like that. and I can translate for you, if you want to. but obviously you know that he lied when he said that the things he said in Indonesian means that the guys are handsome and talented. ;P

and, erm, the last part where Seb said some words in Indonesian... erm... if I may tell, what Seb had to say pretty much means like this:

hello. / we [are] / Simple Plan. / thank you. / thank you so much / for the support -but Seb didn't say the 'g' and the word means something related to paranormal stuff instead, so he's either thanking the fans for cursing them or for using paranormal help to make the band stay successful :P-. / hopefully / all the fans / get well soon -obviously, this isn't the common thing to wish for the fans ^_^;-. / thank you.

and then, the last part that Seb refused to say means 'John Martin -the interviewer- [is] handsome, crazy', so he definitely stopped at the right place. XD -slapped-

by the way, about the 'rencana gampang' that Seb kinda refused to say at first, it does mean 'Simple Plan', but yeah... in my opinion, it sure doesn't sound that cool. probably the same thing if you translate Simple Plan to Portuguese, but I don't really know. maybe you can tell me. :)

and I also think that the guys' pronunciation are really good. how's their Portuguese, if I may know? :3 all I ever heard from them is probably 'obrigado' and some random words. haha. -slapped-

in the end, thank you so much for giving interest to the video and letting me babble this much. hope it doesn't really bother you and thank you again. :D

traces of teacups's picture

it sure would be. sometimes, I even fantasize about meeting them in the weirdest circumstances and even though it's not real, I always feel happy cause of it. do you have such fantasies, if I may know? :3

and glad to hear that. I also agree with you. it's so cool that they wrote about what they went through, which happens to be what we're currently going through. and hearing how true the lyrics are... -sigh- I'm so happy that we can relate to them and welcome SP to our lives. it really has been amazing. :')

thank you so much. it really is an amazing experience. :'D and yeah, they sure know how to work out with the crowd, too. both the astronauts and them seem to have a lot of fun. that's great. X)

heh. thank you again and thank you back. you're incredibly sweet to me. :'D

that's a cool point! haha, it actually reminds me of the time when my brother saw me watching the OSM videos and went like 'it's cool but it doesn't make sense why they play with orchestra... unless if it's for charity' and I was like 'it is'. haha. XD -slapped- ...okay, I guess we just have to wait until they shock us with the news. :)

yeah, it sure is... by the way, may I know how do you feel back on the premiere of Astronaut's music video? XD gotta say it's really funny for me to wait for almost a day; and I believe everyone in the eastern part of the world feels the fun pain, too. haha. -slapped-

SPAstronaut_2's picture

You're welcome :) and thank you :) Music (especially SP) made me become who I am today, so I tried to say how it makes me feel ;)
And I see you're from Brasil, I went to Rio and to Iguaçu for my Christmas holidays! It's an amazing country, so beautiful...

traces of teacups's picture

anyway, if I'm allowed to share this, I'm currently feeling happy cause today I finally found an interview that I saw on a local TV and found really entertaining a few days ago. well, the interviewer himself has always put up straightforward questions and not afraid to offend the guests -in a humorous way, of course-, after all... :)

and since you told me that you really like Seb, then I figure out you won't mind watching it cause he got a new nickname there. I love his expression when he heard the name. haha. XD

here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FP9DJ_CwGiw

well, now that I think about it again, the video and the audio didn't entirely synchronize and it may be funnier for people who understood Indonesian, too... but I hope it's still enjoyable. and if you need help understanding what the interviewer said, then I think I'd be happy to lend a hand. I love the interview, after all... X)

anyway, thank you so much for letting me to share. hope you enjoy it. heh.

traces of teacups's picture

sure. knowing those things, it sure will be something really amazing to be able to meet them one day. I hope we'll get that chance and can tell them how much their music means to us. X)

and yeah, it sure is. and considering we're talking about how their fifth album will be a few messages ago, I think I just remember now that no matter how surprising their new songs can get, it sure is hard to escape the fact that they'll be another relatable ones. heh, don't know why that just comes to my mind, but I'm glad it does. 8D

thank you too. I just saw them live on seventeen and it sure is an amazing experience. hope you enjoy your future SP concert as well. :)

thanks again. that's really sweet of you...

and about the blog, I'm so happy to get visitors. thank you for finding it interesting. and about the DVD, yeah... I guess the news itself is already exciting. I recently read an article in internet -it's written in Indonesia, though- where Pierre said that the new EP or DVD is going to have some old stuffs combined with new stuffs. sounds exciting. X) but they sure will announce it here someday. thanks back.

yeah... it's also amazing to find that the guys also think it as something extraordinary. they're so humble and the stuff with OSM sure is something you don't find everywhere. so cool that they did it. :'D

thanks for the info. well... that means I'm ten hours earlier... garsh, such a gap... XD and thanks back.

traces of teacups's picture

heh, they sure spare a lot of time for the fans and seeing their videos or photos sure is something nice cause it usually brings smile and happiness. and yeah, it's really nice of them for thanking the fans and sharing part of themselves, too.

and I can see the 'more than just a band' thing. probably cause they don't only play music but also do a lot of great things and own such great personalities that make us love them. X') and, heh, their music sure helps uncountable broken hearts to recover. glad that we also feel the impact. ;) also, thank you so much. it's so great of you to say that. :'D

thanks for answering. hmm, I searched a map for Brazil but I can't find the town you mentioned, maybe just another town with similar name... but yeah, that sounds cool. they should really come to the capital. if they've come there before, then I think your chance is big. ;)

and thank you. I hope the Brazilian tour will be announced soon, too. :3

I agree. and the fact that most SP songs have this aspect... -sigh- it's always cool to find a piece of yourself in each of their songs, I guess...

thank you again. :'D I'm so happy to hear that from you, again. haha. for some reason, it just keeps making me smile. heh.

well... erm, thank you for visiting my blog again, first of all. ;3 and... hmm... the OSM DVD... well, I'm afraid I don't really know much about it. I just heard the news from my country's SP fanbase's blog. but it sure would be cool if it comes out this year. the event is just too extraordinary that it would be necessary to put out a DVD just for it. and nice to know that we both enjoy the videos. ;)

heh, what's your time zone, if I may know? :3 mine is GMT +7, if I remember it right. and thank you. it's also been really nice to talk to you. ;D

traces of teacups's picture

yeah, I guess that's one of the reasons it's really easy to remember them every time; the amazing connection they made with us astronauts, I mean.

and I can see that. whether we feel happy to be around them and all of the astronauts or that they teach us to care about others more than before, all of those sure are really amazing to be able to experience. so glad to meet the guys and their inspiring music. :'D and to connect to amazing people that like SP too like you. heh.

and yeah... I never really understand the real reason of it. whether the problem is on the record company or the artists themselves, I have no exact clue, either... ^_^;

ah, that's too bad. well... Brazil sure is a really big country. but that they said they're coming back to Brazil this year. in which city do you live, if I may ask? :) and thanks for asking about me. yeah, they're going to Jakarta on seventeen this month. they sure will be touring a lot this year. that's cool. X)

yeah, I guess everything is more relatable if you've gone through it before... and I agree with you. it sure is one of their most memorable songs, in my opinion. I actually never knew songs with such theme existed before I heard it. heh.

agreed. they sure made a lot of cool vlogs and... well, I guess we can leave it to them to surprise us. :)

thank you so much for understanding and for saying that. :'3 -sigh- ...it's true to say that I'm scared to be over-detailed sometimes, but I always feel it's okay when I'm talking to people that don't mind like you. thank you for making me feel so comfortable all this time. :')

thank you back. haha, I guess there's some time zones' differences here, hmm? good thing that they're not making us crazy. XD -slapped- and thank you so much for wishing all that. I hope I can keep talking and sharing thoughts with you too through the year. thank you. :'D

traces of teacups's picture

heh, I agree with you. it sure is something admirable to be able to stay true to yourself. ;) plus, how amazing they act to the fans... gotta say that so far, SP is the only prominent act that makes me feel that the distance between fans and them is not that far. :'D some famous acts seem to be a little far from their fans; I don't know why. heh.

and yeah, since they said they're coming back to Brazil next year, I hope you get the chance to attend one of their concerts, then. ;)

thank you for sharing that and expanding my view. yeah, I suppose the songs I can relate to the most are kinda divided into every album, too, so... heh. and maybe it's a momentary thing for me too; maybe I just haven't experienced the problems they're explaining in the songs in the first album -except for 'Perfect', haha-.

and yeah, it's exciting to think, but I guess it's best to wait for them. hope it will be a fun wait. haha. XD

heh, I guess that would remain a mystery... and thank you so much for understanding about the 'Y'. I guess I have to be more observant before commenting on people's works next time. thanks for the indirect lesson. :)

thank you too; and, heh, since I'm only thirty minutes away from midnight, I wanna say, well... happy New Year! hope that this about-to-pass year has been a great one for you and that you can keep getting love and happiness and accomplish a lot of goals next year. hope for an SP concert, too. haha. XD

traces of teacups's picture

heh, great to hear that we share the same opinion. :) and yeah, his voice just sounds really nice. well, he seems to be struggling with some notes at some songs sometimes, but it's just as good as the one in the tracks. and I agree with you. all of them are just amazing and real.

and yeah, you're right. sometimes they do sound more amazing live, I think. they sure are really talented. in that case, seeing them live would never be a waste of time and money, I believe. X)

heh, thanks for telling me that. and I think I can see that. even though, oddly, that's the album I can relate to the least -and I'm a teenager and am really childish... ;___;-. but anyway, I still enjoy some of their oldest songs and I agree with you that they're improving by time. now I wonder how their fifth album would sound like... haha. XD

well, I think that's the only difference I've seen so far. but it may be different cause I bought the ones that are made by the branch Warner Music had in my country... I don't know. anyway, sorry for my comment before about the 'Y'. I realized that the 'Y' is placed that way too on my CD, so... heh, I'd like to make an amendment, I guess... XD -slapped-

and nice to hear that you got curious about it. well... erm... don't they have a deluxe edition of GYHO? if so, maybe the white one is the deluxe edition? ^_^; haha, I really know nothing right now.

lastly, thanks back and thank you too for replying. :)

traces of teacups's picture

yeah, I guess that's because the themes for her less pop songs are the ones we can relate more to... and, heh, she sure is. I wanna say the SP guys' acoustic performances are great too, but, like what I said before, I always miss Chuck in each and every of them. :P -slapped-

haha, it's funny? well, glad that it is, then...? XD -kicked- so... erm, thanks, and yeah, we sure got paralyzed and the song did seem to be more... well, powerful than all of their other songs, I guess...? and I agree. it's fun to see that what seems to be an odd mix at first turns out great. ;)

heh, that sure is a cool episode; although, if I remember it again, Kendall is actually the one that said 'One Tree Hill', haha. and thanks for telling me about that. and knowing that your sister likes it, you might like it too soon. :P

yeah, it's like the reason they're not there is not cause they intentionally don't wanna be there, so knowing that sure makes us feel better. :)

heh, thank you back. and yeah, the designs are amazing. and thanks for expanding my view about the first album. the pictures sure reflect the emotions there. it also made the design looks the least mature, I think. :3

also thank you for answering -and no worries ;)- and explaining about the GYHO CD. hmm... I guess it's my CD itself that is odd, then... ^_^; well, I must say I kinda like the design mine has better than the white one you found, though. thanks again for the trouble and for helping. ;D

lastly, thank you back and thank you for the support. X'D

elysej's picture

You're welcome! :)

traces of teacups's picture

erm... I am? thank you, then. I'm just guessing cause some of her old videos look sadder; just something that I can relate and turn out to love, too. ;) and yeah, that's certainly why lyrics are important, I guess... glad that we both find our way to like a song from them. ...and I guess the ones that I can't relate to are mostly the most pop ones, haha. ^_^; but I agree. I knew several of her songs from a TV special where she got interviewed and performed some songs and she sounds so amazing singing in acoustic. 8D

yeah, I'm shocked -I wanna say 'paralyzed', but that'll sound cheesy, I guess; slapped- too when I knew that. I guess both bands are just kinda far in style, so... ^_^;

nice to know all that. heh. thank you back and thank you for answering. :) I watch Victorious too sometimes and, even though I don't watch them, I've heard One Tree Hill and White Collar before -Camille noted One Tree Hill in an episode of BTR, so... XD-. I'm not sure about Falling Skies, though, I'm afraid...

and, haha, great to hear that you're close with your sister. I happen to share some stuffs with my brother, too. XD and... I don't mind answering and I'm younger than my brother. ;)

yeah, when they only have some of them in interviews or when there's no Chuck in acoustic session, there sure is something that seems missing... but -and I don't know why- whenever they still talk about or tell the missing member's whereabouts, I feel the hole is kinda fixed. haha, I don't know why, but sometimes I feel that way. XD

thank you, too. ;3

traces of teacups's picture

heh. yeah, she's amazing. and I probably like those two songs cause they're the easiest for me to relate to. I can't really relate to some of her songs, I'm afraid. :/ but she sounds really amazing, so... heh. :) and that's really cool. if I'm not mistaken, her first two albums are more sad, hmm? or maybe a mix of feeling, like GYHO?

I actually realized it cause I have problems remembering the notes in 'Never Should Have Let You Go' until I memorized the notes in 'Wish You Were Here'. heh.

yeah, and Chuck just replied someone's tweet a few days ago about him and Pierre writing a song for BTR. haha, that's just really something I don't expect. XD -kicked- and that's really nice to hear. I guess it's easier for siblings to introduce the stuffs they like to each other.

and thank you for asking. well, I do watch series sometimes; and again, I was affected by my brother. I mostly watch teen sitcoms like Big Time Rush, True Jackson VP, all those kind of stuffs; but I also enjoy Power Rangers and... erm... my brother recently got me watching Switched at Birth and Warehouse 13, too. haha, what about you, if I may ask? :)

yeah, whenever I heard his back vocals in some of SP songs, I think it's really great. I like his usual talking voice, too. the way he talks is kinda funny, for me. :P -slapped- well, then, if that's the case, maybe I should hear more of his songs when I get the chance. ;3

heh, alright, then. thank you so much. X) and thank you for taking your time to visit it in the first place. I'm so happy to hear that you enjoy reading some of the stuffs I write there. :'D

yeah, it's cool to see that such amazing people with such different characters can get along really well. and, heh, I agree; we sure have our favorites. :) there's always something that budges when one or two of the guys are missing, though... do you feel that, too?

thank you back; and thank you too for replying me. and so happy to hear that cause I also enjoy talking to you. X) thanks again.

elysej's picture

You're welcome! :)
Thank you very much! You're very sweet ;)

traces of teacups's picture

thank you too for replying me. ;D and thank you again. it's always nice to hear that people like what you do, so... thanks! X)

and about your favorite artists that I happen to like too... it's Avril Lavigne. :) I've been in love with 'Wish You Were Here' -funny that the verse in this song and in 'Never Should Have Let You Go' are kinda similar XD; kicked- and 'I'm With You' for a while now. heh.

and Big Time Rush is my brother's favorite musical artist! :3 since he loves to listen to them, I start to know their songs, too. I enjoy the series more, though. heh. and I think Seb's voice is just soothing, although the only song I heard from him is probably 'I Fall For You'...

thank you for asking, by the way. I have fun describing all those things above. X) -slapped-

and... garsh... thank you so much for visiting my blog! X) thank you so much for the words. garsh... I don't know, but if that's really what you think, then thank you. I never really realize before, but I guess I'm gonna try checking my posts there again. I have a feeling that my view would be richer now that you've told me that. again, thank you. ;3

yeah, that's right. Chuck is kinda my favorite one. heh. I always enjoy watching the five guys together, but for some reason I'm not even sure of, I seem to relate the most to him. ^_^;

ah... thank you for saying all that. and I think that's a really great point! I agree with you. all the guys sure are admired by all the astronauts around the world. and I don't know if this is just me or not, but they just seem so different from each other and that's probably why it's hard to get bored to watch a video where all the five of them are in it. XD

and thank you, too. I'm so glad and happy that you enjoy reading my comments. I enjoy yours, too; so thank you so much for the replies. ;)

traces of teacups's picture

heh, I guess I do like to write in details... ^_^; and I'm glad you're okay with that. thank you so much. and thank you back for appreciating my comment. I'm always happy to hear replies like this. X)

yeah, it's really neat and dynamic. so happy I decided to take a closer look of it. ;) heh, the 'off' part sure is tricky. probably cause both 'of' and 'off' exist in English... well, I don't think that's stupid, but seeing that you're not down cause of what I think is a small stuff is nice for me. words sure are tricky, especially if you make something more detailed like the lyrics, I believe. up until now, I still don't know how to write the suitcase's brand in 'Loser of The Year'! XD -kicked-

thank you for answering. :) well, at first, I thought you only wrote your favorite songs, but then I checked your profile and saw that your favorites are actually the ones that aren't in the pic, so... yeah, I think that's the reason that makes me realize about the songs being the ones with the music videos. heh.

and it was surprising? r-really? erm... happy to surprise you, then? :D -kicked again-

and thank you again for the answers. now that you mention it, it does look more like an orange. and it's just amazing that you can cut so neatly! 8D

ah... about my drawing, thank you so much for taking your time to look at it and even tell me some of your thoughts about it. thank you. :'3 I'm so glad my decision to use the eraser on some things -like the 'Chuck' words- gives something more. and thank you so much. I'm so glad you like the drums and the drawing. again, thank you for your comment. it's really nice to hear all that. ;)

and I have fun reading your profile. how you describe music is just so sincere and sweet for me. and to me, the way you address stuffs sounds really humble. X) and reading your other favorite musical artists and noticing that I like some of them too is just something I found a little bit funny. :P -kicked-

lastly, thank you for the reply. :)
