    Simple Plan have dropped the F-Bomb

    Once in SP3 (You're Love Is A Lie)

    Twice in GYHO (You Suck At Love & Anywhere Else But Here)

     

    I'm totally ok with the use of the F-Bomb though.  But will this create a precident and will we see 3x F-Bomb in their next (5th) album?

It's funny how when you see them live, the words that get screamed out the loudest by the crowd are the f-words. I guess it just feels good to be angry.

Also, I remember when I wrote "fuck" in these forums when the site was new and I got a lot of hate because "there could be kids here". FUCKKKKKKKKK.

There is actually 2 versions of Your Love Is A Lie. One with the F-bomb and one with out it.
I think the one without the F-bomb was made so it would be more radio friendly (since u cant says swear words on the radio). And they usually say the F-bomb in the song during concerts.
F-bomb version: And do you think about me when he F***S you?
No F-bomb: And do you think about me when he KISSES you?

I've listened to AEBH and I can hear what you mean, and they dont say it in YSAL. I think it was the guys decision to not you F***. And I think they are not the ones to make songs on the albums where they would be forced to put the rating sticker on it. They save that for their concerts. The once in a while songs like the special version of Im Just a Kid, and Your Love Is A Lie, it makes them different cause they guys are not ones to swear on their songs.

If you were a real sp fan youd know that they dropped the fbomb in their live in japan 2002 album with their remake of cheap tricks "surrender"

I've been really listening to GYHO. With some really good headphones.
And from from I fear the F-Bomb is dropped. But either in the singing or post production the woah is put on top of it, I here the k being said. Both in YSAL and AEBH. That's what I think anyways.

They dropped the 2x F-bombs and ,management was like hey you need to do something about it so they did. I'm totally ok with the word. But yeah those rating agencies like to give mature ratings to albums with that word. And a lot of parents don't let their kids own albums with the bad language sticker on it.

I don't give a f... well, I don't think it's bad .. but I think it's 'cuz I listen to much more 'bad-words' songs too... but sure, I've herd of people who's not allowed to listen to the music if it's 'bad words' in it, and then it's bad, 'cuz I think everyone should listen to SP.

they dont really swear in GYHO i mean in You Suck At Love its more like "you were such an awesome ffWOAH" nd in Anywhere Else But here the fkk sounds more like FORK. I have no problem with them swearing though so... whatever.

Yeah they don't ACTUALLY drop any F-Bombs on this album but I think they did more than once on Simle Plan...which in Canada at least made it have to have the "explicit lyrics" sticker on it! haha

I use the F-Bomb about 100 times a day but I think it's funnier on this album how it's just implied and they don't actually say it!

I don't mind if they use "fuck". if you see them live, they use it many times and give a fuck about the covering in their songs. I personally prefer the YLIAS & I'm just a kid versions with the "bad word"( :D). but it's ok that they cover it too, because some SP fans are really young and they wouldn't probably be allowed to hear it, if it wasn't covered :-/

I remember when the third album came out, people were posting comments on the site along the lines of "I love the album, but because of Your Love Is A Lie, I can't just give it to my younger siblings who also love your music." It makes me really happy that they listened to the fans and made the album accessible to everyone. (Not that I personally mind the word)

I think there is one or two F-Bomb in NPNHJB right? One in I'm just a kid but they use hell instead sometime (I prefer fuck pouahh) and sometime in addicted when they sing it live ;)

haha I love to cuss but I don't see it as bad words. I see them as words that can help make your point lol. I wish they didn't cover it up. And they say fuck all the fucking time hahaha I don't mind it. ANYWAY I wonder how many they will have in the next one too, but right now I'm good with GYHO

Lol they don't really do it on Get Your Heart On! because they cover it up with guitar noises and/or Pierre going "woo!". Lol I think it's great they covered it up. I mean, I swear all the time when I'm angry but Simple Plan are so innocent :'D
