The first time i heard about SIMPLE PLAN was when i was FIFTEEN YEARS OLD (2004 to be exact) after "Still Not Getting Any" album came out. I saw these guys in many magazines but i didn't know who were they... so my first impression about SP was... O.O what a hot guys!!
I decided to find out more about them, on radio stations, TV Shows and so on. After this I fell in love with every song, yeah! :) The first SP album that i bought was "SNGA" so so so happy!! (but i knew it was the second one) then i got the first album "NPNHJB" (i felt like a PunkStar, hahaha WHO DOESN'T?) there's so much i have to say but...
Definitely My Life wouldn't be COMPLETE without SIMPLE PLAN! so... HOW ABOUT YOU?

The first time I heard about SP was when I was 10 years old. I was watching Mtv and saw their video I'd Do Anything. I loved it so much. But I didn't find their record. 3 years later, Welcome To My Life was on a advertisement for a car (Citroën C3) and I said to myself: "Hey! I recognize this voice! I think it's the band Simple Plan!" I started to search more informations about them and I bought their record SNGA. I became a huge fan. And one month later, I found their 1st album NPNHJB. Since this year, I'm a big fan of this band and I'm so happy to have grew up with their music. They're a part of my life and they'll be a part of me forever.
I was only 10 years old ! I was watching MTV when I saw the "Welcome To My Life" video. I didn't understand all the lyrics (I'm french) but I felt a connection with it. I was in a very dark period in my life. My parents were divorcing, I had eating disorders and very violent anxiety attacks and I was so young. Make researchs about this band, Simple Plan, helped me to feel me better. I still don't know how I was able to take it all away but I'm pretty sure that SP helped me. They kinda saved me.
Today, I'm depressive (it seems that nothing can ever go well with me.) and listen to SP really help me when I'm so down. They're so important to me now. I'll never forget them, they'll always be a part of me. I love them so much ?
All I can do is to thank them for all they've done for me and to keep on support them with all of my heart.

I was 14, and like Karina Parker I also discovered them in the Mary-Kate & Ashley movie xD
You know, at first I didn't realize it was a "real" band. I thought they were just actors xD so when I found out they were a real band, I was like "Whooa they actually EXIST?! Awesome!!!! *go buy cd*" Yeah it was love at first sight (or love at first listen?) for me as well :D
I heard the band Simple Plan in a film with the Olsen Twins))) I fell in love with them!)) Wonderful music!) Ordered, energetic), I was only 16 years old)) I love them so far))
I was about ten when i was at a friends party and Welcome To My Life came on, thought it was a good song and been hooked and in luv with Simple Plan ever since! (Im now 15)
I was ten years old! Accidently misspelled my search on YouTube and Welcome to my Life came up, I clicked and I've been an Astronaut ever since. :D Always will be.
i was a fan of there music since Perfect, Im Just A Kid and Grow Up came out. everytime they released an album, i liked any song they played on the radio. i liked there music. not knowing who they really were. but in 2002 i was only 4 years old. When Your Love is A Lie came outi knew who they were and really liked them, i forgot about them (kill me for that) got back into them when i went through song i used to listen to and saw many of there songs. anyways, im a huge Astronaut now, and i will be, forever this time
When I was 16, 8 years have passed and I´m still a fan and they still being the best!

My name is Quinn and I am 4 years old, I love Simple Plan they are my favourite group. My mum (typing this) and dad are taking me to see them in Sydney when they come to Australia so it will be my first concert. I am super excited.
when i was a little kid but idk how old was i,and i dont really pay attention to them in fact i dont really pay attention to western music just know their names and some of their songs but im not quite sure i know any Simple Plan songs that time,then now i guess everything change XP i listen to them this year,sadly =(,if i know i'll be a fan of them,i wont waste my time before..wish i can turn back time..cos i find their songs may help me more during my childhood cos it is my dark life so..yeah sweet 16

When I was13 (I'm 23 now) , one of my friends randomly put the two songs Addicted and I'd Do Anything on a mix CD of mine, I really liked the songs and tried to find out who they were by, then I saw I'm Just a Kid on the Hit List and well love blossomed :)
It was 2002 and I was13, my old brother had the songs Addicated and I'd Do Anything on the computer. When I hear those songs I was ADDICATED 4 LIFE.

Ami and sounded a long time, but I began to hear of the announcement of "Easter bifrutas" XD They're the best band in the world because they make songs that mark! Not a day goes by that listen: D

nice story...well...me i first heard there song perfect..it became our barkada themesong...thank God i meet not actually not meet but known these guys because they really mean to me....there songs are really great. it makes me feel i'm not alone in this world...i love them a lot...and so sad that until now that i didn't seen them..they never been here in philippines.
I was 7 when i first heard Simple Plan. It was in 2004 and my mum was playing SNGA in the car. I immediately fell in love with Promise and Welcome to My Life and havent stopped loving SP ever since.
first heard them when i was 11 and now im about to turn 19, first time i ever heard them was in school when a girl played them for a school project :D

my first song was Perfect, my friend sent me on MSN and said "check them out, they're awesome!".

i was 9 years old, now i am 13,5 years old, my first song was grow up in scooby doo, then id do anything at the same day
It was also in 2004, I was 11 at that time. I heard "welcome to my life" on tv, but i just saw the end of the video and so didn't see who sang this song but I really loved it. So I really wanted to know who sang it but just didn't know how to search 'cause I didn't even know the title of the song at that time. Then one day, one of my friend sent me a little part of a song (don't remember why...XD) and it happens to be that song, so then I knew the title of the song and the name of the group, I was so happy. ^^ So I immediately bought the single, and then the album. And it's like I completely fell in love with them, with their beautiful songs.
It's been 7 years now but I still love them so much. Their songs really helped me when I felt bad, and each time I listen to them I feel better, happier =)

omg op, your story is the same as mine - I first discovered them in 2004 when SNGA came out! :) That's when I was 12 years old. I heard Welcome To My Life on the radio and got hooked pretty quickly. And then I decided to buy their first CD of course, NPNHJB, after that I just got even more obessed with them until now :D
i was 6 years old n omg i used 2 scream wen i herd there songs come on tv or the radio n my mum has videos of me dancin 2 the music lol i pretty much grew up listenin 2 simple plan always in my heart (2002 was wen i herd them duh coz they came out that year lol)
My first time I heard the Simple Plan I was 15/16 years old (summer 2006). I was watching MTV, was a typical hot day in summer, there was the usual summer program that had all the songs of that summer, I was raised a moment to take a drink of cool when I hear beautiful music, captivating, strong, back in the dining room I see Simple Plan, but I did not know that it was they had to wait until the end of the video you would write who they were. I was practically glued to the tv hehe, I was surprised by a song so beautiful, and so I met with Simple Plan "Welcome to My Life." I've tried to be more about them, the group and their songs. All the songs later in "Welcome to My Life" I liked immediately, without listening to them 2 or 3 times before I liked.
And finally a really important thing for me, their songs, the group helped me in a very bad period of my life. They gave me the joy of life and especially thanks to their music I vented all my anger! Thanks to them I was able to move forward in my darkest moments!

A friend of mine showed me "I'm Just a Kid" and "God Must Hate Me" in fourth grade (I think) and I only liked those two songs, but I had heard "I'd Do Anything" before. So, one day, during sixth grade, I was watching "What's New Scooby Doo?" with my cousin and "I'd Do Anything" started playing. So, I looked Simple Plan up on Youtube and my obsession spouted from there xD
