I saw the video the day it premiered and have seen it many times by now. I absolutely love it:D! It's perfect and beautiful. You guys chose the perfect location to shoot this video. I really loved the starry night sky. I loved what you guys were wearing and you all looked so great. I really liked the storyline. My favorite part was when everyone was looking towards the sky and just gazing. I love that part because you guys look so pensive. I don't think there was a shot of Seb gazing though. I think that would've made that part complete since everyone was doing it. You guys chose the perfect quote to go with the video. It goes so well with this song. It's an interesting quote. It was a nice touch to add that quote to the beginning. I could tell you guys put a lot of thought into making this video. I could tell that with every video you make of course;). Excellent job guys! I'm so proud of you guys for making another epic video!
J'adore cette video ( comme toutes les autres) et je vous adore les SP continuez comme ça serieux c est tout simplement GENIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Je vous aime !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At first i couldn't find the reference to patrick, but after watching it over and over and over again i finally saw it, i think it's so nice that patrick gets to be in all these different video's :D
And i just love the song and the video, it looks so amazing, thank you for everything!
I watched this first with no sound to see if the clip itself has any story. It's nice to see it has some, the lonely boy looking for anybody and finding that girl... but.. eh.. it's kind of not enough.
Objectively I must say I am neither a fan of Simple Plan nor a hater. I expect a little bit more from a video, a kind of more complex story from a music video. Watch and learn from other music groups. I can understand that you are not the one who makes your videos, you just hire a producer and learn where to step and do it (simple acting), but you might should consider hiring a better one.
As en example I will mention your video for the song "Shut Up!". Comparing that one to this is impossible. Shut Up! has a storyline (your band playing in a wrong venue and then going to the right one, the surprised faces and people enjoying your show), but in this one I kind of miss one. It's just you playing with a starry background and then the lonely guy. So the end of the video looks quite pathetic, this topic (a boy finding a girl) has been repeated far too many times! I recommend you a new video producer, someone, who would actually be able to make a little bit more complicated story. For example in this one it might be some more action with the boy, for example he could have crossed some difficulties (like climbing mountains, running away from something) and then meet the girl. This way it looks like as if sitting on the butt and waiting will bring you any results. I would put some effort into the storyline.
I can't comment on your work. You are just figurines doing your job - very simple acting. I would like to see a different name of the producer next time.
I would give you 50%. It had some trace of a story, but please, next time take more time thinking about the story!
See you at the show (maybe someday).
