Help us celebrate the 10 year anniversary by posting video messages to the band telling them your fondest memories of NPNHJB. Whether you just want to talk about your favorite song, or favorite show from the 2002 era, doesn't matter!

and I would add that I feel that like the second I heard an SP song (I'm Just a Kid) for the first time, that's it, I was hooked!

I cannot come up with a favourite memory from the No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls album as I loved the entire era: Finding out about SP when they did "I'm Just a Kid," for the New Guy movie, buying the album, buying a Big Package for You and seeing them at Bluesfest. This album was easily the soundtrack of my life from grade 7 (2002) to grade 10 (2005: that's when Still Not Getting Any became part of the soundtrack). I even still listen to it quite often now. It was starting with this album, that SP helped me become the person that I am today. Through my highs and lows I can always turn on this album and listen to a song that explains exactly how I am feeling. I would never say this seriously but Pierre, thanks for not going into biology, and Chuck, thanks for not becoming a lawyer: Music is your domain and there is no other band that I have become this attached to over the years.

Wow, 10 years! I see that CD and I remember the first time I saw it, it was at my cousin's house, who was who introduced me Simple Plan, although the first song I've heard wasn't from this CD, years after, when I listened to it, I discovered one of the most beautiful songs ever, "Perfect", I love it all, the lyrics, the music, the meaning everything! But, from this summer, there are two songs from this CD which are also important to me, "Addicted" and "I'm Just a Kid", not just for the music or lyirics, but also because of what they mean to me, last summer I did a really special journey where I met the best people in the world, and I listened everyday these two songs with no special reason, so now, everytime I listen to them, I remember this journey and I can't stop smiling, that's one of the reasons why I loved so much your concert in Barcelona this year, you played all of these songs, and to me it was realley special! :) I would like to have made a video, but I couldn't, so I hope you read this message and you know how special you are and how special you make people feel. :)

I can remember the day I bought it. Cost me all I had (imported since it hadn't been released in France). But I didn't give a fuck, I had it. And that album is fuckin magical.

The Worst Day Ever a toujours été ma chanson de prédilection que j'écoutais avant chaque examen que je passais, dès que j'avais un examen important j'écoutais cette chanson avant d'entrer dans la salle, je trouvais qu'elle résumait parfaitement la situation xD quand j'avais le temps j'écoutais ensuite I'm Just a Kid et God Must Hate Me. No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls me faisait une petite playlist parfaite pour me mettre dans l'ambiance et me motiver :).

Mon souvenir préféré de No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls devrait être le fait que c'était le début de Simple Plan, et sans eux, je ne serais pas la personne que je suis aujourd'hui. Ils m'ont apporté beaucoup plus proche avec mon père, comme indiqué dans TSSML, et je suis très fier de cela. Même si Grow Up n'était qu'un bonus track, il est probablement mon préféré, autre que parfait, car il explique essentiellement ma vie dans une chanson. Les gens ont toujours me dire ce qu'il faut faire, et pour moi plus mature. Simple Plan a été telle une énorme partie de ma vie, et je n'aurais jamais le reprendre. Ils ont sauvé ma vie, et je suis éternellement reconnaissant pour eux. Je le ferais tout de nouveau en un battement de coeur. Je vous remercie du fond de mon coeur

Je me rappelerai toujours le jour où j'ai reçu No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls, j'étais excitée à mort, je ne tenais pas en place en rentrant chez moi je l'ai mis à fond, c'est toute mon adolescence :) Regarder les clips un nombre incalculable de fois sans jamais pouvoir m'en lasser, toujours penser à Seb dans I'm Just a Kid quand je prenais le bus scolaire... et tous ces moments géniaux que j'ai passé avec ma meilleure amie en partie grâce à ce CD, c'est l'un des pilliers de notre amitié donc merci No Pads, merci Simple Plan

No pads no helmets just balls est l'un des meilleurs albums du monde entier; TOUTES les chansons de ce CD sont excellentes !!! C'est très rare, surtout pour un premier album ! Et pourtant vous avez réussi, parce que vous êtes exceptionnels !! :) I'd do anything will always be my favorite song EVER !

Merci pour votre musique et bonne humeur depuis ces 10 dernières année et je vous en souhaite encore de nombreuse. I'd do anything ma permis d'avoir mon diplôme avec un 19/20 en anglais , car le sujet étais d'écrire une lettre parlant d'amour donc j'ai écrit votre chanson sur ma copie. Grace a vous maintenant je suis super forte en anglais et en expression québécoise.

The most immature album ever... LOOVVEE ITT!!! Congratulations guys!!, lovely songs, they make me wanna jump all night long. Remember it was the first SP album I bought, it happened just like almost 4 years ago, but I was really young, and that album... It was the best shit ever!, I felt so related to the songs, it was just... the best. HANDS DOWN TO SIMPLE PLAN, THE BEST FUCKING BAND EVER!!!

Je vous felicite pour votre album. J'ai 20 ans et je suis de l'Espagne et je vous ai suivi depuis que j'etais un gosse. Le temps a très vite passé mais je continue à ecouter cet album comme s'il etait le premier jour. J'adore especiallement deux chansons: "Won't be there" et "Perfect". Mais, apres avoir vu comment Pierre a chanté "Perfect" à Madrid, j'ai un faible pour celle-ci. Un concert EXTRAORDINAIRE les gars. Merci pour realiser mon reve =)

10 ans déjà! Je me sens vieille! J'avais 15 ans à l'époque, j'en ai 25 aujourd'hui et je suis toujours aussi fan!!! Mon souvenir de No Pads, no helmets... Just balls c'est bien sur le videoclip i'm just a kid que j'écoutais sans cesse sur musiqueplus. Ma chanson préférée de ce cd restera I'd do anything, même si je trouve que chaque chanson est extraordinaire. Je l'écoutais en allant l'école le matin et 10 ans plus tard, je l'écoute tous les jours en allant travailler. C'est ma chanson pour me motiver et me réveiller. Ca part bien ma journée. Merci encore pour votre musique les gars. 10 ans déjà... Mais ce n'est que le début! :) pas vrai!?

I remeber being 8 years old when I first heard you guys loving the song I'm just a kid...to this day I still listen to it!!! My video isn't working ....and I got all creative with posters haha!!! I am almost 18 now and I still love you guys..ya music has been there for me always....!!! Thanks soo much for your amazing music!!! Saw you guys in Vancouver for GYHO Tour.....you guys are still the awesome band that I remeber 10 years ago!!! Congrats for making it this far..your music speaks to all your fans!!

I remember hearing I'm Just A Kid on the radio 10 years ago, and loving it then, followed your music all the way through until today. When I went to your concert in Halifax, it was one of the best concerts I have ever seen in a long time, so much energy and lots of fun! that memories with this album! certainly never forget those times, I remember I had about seven or eight years, I was a child or kid or not? haha well, and I remember always listening to his songs especially 'I'd do anything' that's one of my favorite songs from the NPNHJB along with 'Addicted'!! but really my favorite song from this album is 'Perfect' I really identify that song a lot and for me is one of the most beautiful that has you guys, I have lived with you enough and I think they are part of my life and soul thanks for all the love you guys! PERFECT!! La chanson qui m'a fait découvrir SP!! C'est ma chanson favorite de NPNHJB. Je l'ai écouté à repeat pendant des mois et je l'écoute encore autant aujourd'hui. A BIG PACKAGE FOR YOU!! Le DVD que j'ai regardé avec mes amis jusqu'à ce qu'on le sache par coeur!! Pierre qui french la caméra.... Moment inoubliable..ahah!! NPNHJB c'est mon adolescence et le remède par excellence pour les moments plus difficiles! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU'VE DONE...LOVE YOU GUYS!! :)

Plusieurs souvenirs concernant le premier album. 1. Jam des Neiges 2002 où je n'ai pas pu assister à cause de mes 14 ans et la non permission de mes parents. (9 mars 2002) 2. Les nombreux concours auxquels mes amies et moi avons participés pour vous voir en spectacle (au moins une dizaine de fois pour cet album) 3. Le temps où il suffisait d'aller en arrière du métropolis 20 minutes après le show pour rencontrer les membres du groupe. 4. Avoir écouté A big package for you au moins 100 fois. Facile. Bref cet album représente tout mon secondaire. Un incontournable pour moi. Chaque fois que fait quelque chose d'important pour la première fois, c'est la trame sonore qui joue.
