HOW OLD WERE YOU WHEN YOU HEARD ABOUT SP FOR THE FIRST TIME?Started by(16 Aug '11)
The first time i heard about SIMPLE PLAN was when i was FIFTEEN YEARS OLD (2004 to be exact) after "Still Not Getting Any" album came out. I saw these guys in many magazines but i didn't know who were they... so my first impression about SP was... O.O what a hot guys!!
I decided to find out more about them, on radio stations, TV Shows and so on. After this I fell in love with every song, yeah! :) The first SP album that i bought was "SNGA" so so so happy!! (but i knew it was the second one) then i got the first album "NPNHJB" (i felt like a PunkStar, hahaha WHO DOESN'T?) there's so much i have to say but...
Definitely My Life wouldn't be COMPLETE without SIMPLE PLAN! so... HOW ABOUT YOU?

7 years ago, I was 8 or something, after SNGA was released, I watched TV and saw the advertisment for it. Welcome to my life was the song playing. I just loved it and asked my mother if she could buy the album for me :D
in 2006. this was when my friend gave my still not getting any at my birthday. since that day, i never stop to listen simpleplan!
I first heard about them when i was twelve. Addicted was playing on the radio and all i thought about is who is this band especially that i use to listen to other bands that kinda had da same style and i told myself i had to know but i truley started adoring them after perfect which i also heard on the radio on my way back from skoool n thts my story wid SP.
Luv u SP.
I first heard Simple Plan when I was 13 heard the song I'm just a kid on the movie The New guy and saw the video at the way end of the vhs movie, haha I feel old, so Ive been a fan for almost 10 years. You guys sure have grown In a good way, yet I miss the style from No pad,No helmets just balls and still not getting any albums though. Much love to you guys. You have helped me through so much just through your music.
i think i knew them when i was 10 or 11 and their first song that i heard is "i can wait forever" and of course "untitled" (and i love them!). i listened at them in tv and figured out that the band called "Simple Plan". and i think: "nice~~"
but i just became a fan recently (im almost 14 right now). i feel so stupid that i dont put enough attention on them when i first look at them. after GYHO album out, i figured that this is the band i saw when i was 10! and they become even nicer than i thought they could be (and soooo damn cool). without a second thought i say:
"IM YOUR FAN SP!"
I first heard SP when I was in 6th grade, I think by that time I was 11 turning 12 and now this saturday I'm 21. Anyway, the very first song I heard was "Perfect" and it made me fall in love with the guys! so naturally, when my birthday came up, I asked for NPNHJB as a gift :) and since then Simple Plan has been my favorite band ever
I was in 5th grade!! I remember I walked by my living room and the music video countdown was on and "addicted" was playing and I saw Pierre and about died. Then my friend burned me NPNHJB and I have been in love ever since :) I'm 20 now :) SP forever
i remember i was 13, it was on spring break, in the morning, i was about to take my shower, but just before i turned on my radio, and i heard them for the first time! TU TU TU TU TUTU.... I'D DO ANYTHIIIING!
and now.... almost 10 years later... i've tatooed an SP on my hip..
I was about 8! :D and now 10 years later I just turned 19 and they are still my idols! :)
It was at summer I was 16 I was looking after a song I heard at the radio and then I found "welcome to my life" since this time simple plan's songs are an important thing in my life That summer was one of my best ones.

Wow.... I was about 13 when they first came out. I was watching Much Music, and the video for i'm just a kid was on...I absolutely loved it and fell in love with them. That love affair continued throughout junior high, high school, and has since followed me into University. They are one of the only bands I have never grown tired of, and probably never will. They are just one of those rare bands that consistently make music I like, and have never become at all pretentious. I CANT wait to see you guys in February in Halifax, even if i am the only 23 year old grown woman there.
