After a reeeeallly tight connection, a marathon sprint and after ALMOST missing their flight, the guys arrived in Madrid this morning. With a few hours before soundcheck, most agreed that a nap was in order, while a few others went for food. Sebastien though, thought that vloging was the most logical thing to do.

In the age of MP3, it’s rare that you see your favorite albums in old school vinyl form. Well, leave it to SP to put together a limited edition version of “Simple Plan” for your old players.

The vinyl was produced in super limited edition, only 200 were made, is bright orange, and signed by all 5 guys. Check em out, once they’re gone, they’re gone.

A little over 2 years ago, the guys started “The Simple Plan Foundation”, to raise money and give back to those in need. Last week, at a press conference in Montreal, the foundation announced their first donations, totaling over 100,000$. The guys also announced their first fund raising event, a benefit acoustic concert, as well as a brunch, this coming august.

SP are getting geared up for their Canadian tour that starts August 19th, which promises to be amazing. However, there have been some changes to the tour line-up; The All-American Rejects will no longer be part of this tour as the band is currently tied up in the studio completing their new album. The good news is that one of our favorite new bands, Metro Station will be joining the tour along with Faber Drive.

Yesterday was a day off in Geneva and since we were all Jetlagged, everyone was up suuper early. We decided to have a Sebastien birthday celebration day and a couple of the guys rented bikes, randomly found an open-to-the public wine tasting, fed ducks and rode bikes all through Geneva. Happy Birthday Seb!
