Simple Plan has announced details of its very special New Year’s Eve live concert, slated for webcast as part of YouTube and Warner Music Group’s annual year-end extravaganza. The festivities herald the upcoming release of the Montreal-based band’s hugely anticipated third studio album, “SIMPLE PLAN,” arriving in stores and online on February 12th.
The multi-platinum combo hit a secret New York City location to tape its New Year’s Eve set in front of an at-capacity audience, with admission exclusively made available to Simple Plan fans. The full-length concert event – also featuring critically acclaimed rapper Talib Kweli and the winner of YouTube’s first ever “OnTheRise” rap competition, Conceit- can be seen worldwide at www.youtube.com/newyears, kicking off on Monday, December 31st.

World-conquering Canadians Simple Plan are set to take over Camden Town as they play three shows in one day on January 27th 2008.Kicking off proceedings at The Barfly, the band will then head to The Underworld before ending their triple gig-fest at The Electric Ballroom.
Treating fans at the Barfly to a 30 minute set of songs taken from their 2002 debut smash No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls, the band will then give 2004’
s Still Not Getting Any the unplugged treatment with an acoustic set at the Underworld. The closing show at the Electric Ballroom will be a full-on, plugged-in electric performance.
Their reputation for explosive live sets - a contagious mix of irresistible hits and high energy crowd interaction - guarantees these shows will be one of hottest tickets of 2008. They are the band’s first UK dates since a triumphant sell-out tour in 2006 which included two shows at London’s Astoria.
