It seems like it started only yesterday, but the European tour is coming to a close tonight in Prague, Czech Republic. This is coincidently also the biggest show of the tour, so it’s good to go out with a bang. I talked to Jeff and David minutes before sound check to hear their impressions.

Hey guys, just wanted to take this opportunity to wish you all amazing Holidays!

We hope you will have a great time with your loved ones and that you will enjoy a nice break from school, work…etc. We all miss you very much and we can’t wait to come and see you very soon. 2008 is shaping up to be a great year for us with the new record coming on Feb. 12th and lots of touring and travelling ahead of us. We want to wish you all the very best for the New Year! And to kick off 2008 in style, don’t forget to watch our Youtube special on Dec. 31st (details will be posted soon)….it’s gonna be a good time. In what seems like a very long time in the making, David made his own personal vlog today at the airport while we waited to board the plane. What seemed like an easy enough travel day turned into a nightmare as we got stuck on the runway for 3 hours in Montreal, arrived very late in Chicago, sprinted to the next flight and made it in the nick of time…

It was the first show in a very long time for the guys and with soundcheck not being an option with all the flight delays, the boys were pretty nervous getting on stage. Thank god all went well and the first show is now behind us. Here is our day, on video…

This afternoon at the studio all 5 guys were here at the same time, which doesn’t happen all the time since they only really track one instrument at a time. I thought it would be a cool idea to shoot a group vlog. Then I was shot-down. Group Vlogs aren’t cool apparently. So here is a non-group vlog.

It can get a little confusing when you have a bunch of songs to record, with many parts to each. That’s where the progress board comes in handy. By the time this baby is full of X’s, the record will be coming your way. In the mean time, here’s Chuck and David putting it up and filling in the first completed parts.

Things are looking up in the studio here as day 2 is slowly coming to an end. Yesterday, after setting up all the gear, coming up with good sounds and finding the right tones, David started the show by tracking bass for a song called “Time To Say Goodye”. This morning it was Seb’s turn on rhythm guitar and as I write this Jeff is nailing down the leads… Things might seem a little slow, but it’s actually moving along quite well. The only hickup slowing down the process is the Nintendo Wii that we have here, but more on that another time… For now, check out some pics of the guys, hard at work.
