Simple Plan will be participating in the Five-City Olympic Celebration at the Olympic Plaza in Calgary in February. If you live in Calgary, it’s a free event so get there early!
Each free event will feature live performances from some of Canada’s top musical acts, interactive Olympic- and Paralympic-themed sport zones, cultural pavilions, hospitality zones, and large video screens for the 2010 Winter Games.

I hope they show parts of this on TV… So DYING to see David… Everytime an event with Simple plan is scheduled, I get all exited, because I keep thinking “Yay! I’m gonna see David” “The end of the world could happen, but it will be ok, cuz’ I’m gonna see David”. Almost everytime, the exitement becomes total dissapointment, because David doesn’t show up most of the time:-(
But you know, there’s always hope for next time… So tonight, I will probably waste away in front of my TV, hoping to see David, even if it’s only for a fraction of a second…

Hello from Calgary. Thank you so very much for a great show last night at Calgary Olympic Plaza.
Your music and talent are appreciated and much enjoyed by 3 generations in my family. I am a 56 yr. old grandmother accompanied by my 30 yr. old daughter and 9 year old grandson. OMG I was totally there it was crazy cold but totally worth it. The show was so amazing and I didnt want it to end. The best part was when David said that Calgary was the craziest crowd they’ve had in 6 months and then pointed right at me. I also received a guitar pick from Pierre which also made my night. This show made my love and appreciation for Simple Plan so much more than it was before. I love you guys you totally rock come back to Calgary soon cuz you know i’ll be there
