A little over 2 years ago, the guys started “The Simple Plan Foundation”, to raise money and give back to those in need. Last week, at a press conference in Montreal, the foundation announced their first donations, totaling over 100,000$. The guys also announced their first fund raising event, a benefit acoustic concert, as well as a brunch, this coming august.

Cette fondation est juste…géniale. Je sais pas comment m’exprimer. Ce que vous faites, c’est impressionant. Les gars, vous êtes un groupe de musique merveilleux mais vous êtes aussi beaucoup plus que ca. Vous êtes vraiment des gens biens. Je dirais même que le mot “bien” n’est pas assez fort. I think that the Simple Plan foundation is a really good idea! I mean some of the peoples that are famous, or are in a band, sometimes is acting like, “i’m famous and that is all that I care about.” So I think it’s a really good ide to do this for all the people who acully makes youre day. Beacuse it is the people who cares about you this all is about. And this foundation really means a lot for me as a person. Beacuse I’m thrue a tough time, and I really love Simple Plan and I fight for you guys! <3 And That you wanna do this for the people who cares is so nice! But I think that it’s really a huge sum! It’s amazing! So you guys for about two years
picked up your money for do this project? For do this donation?

And yes..”Simple Plan Foundation”..I knew that since the first time that I knew them..
and I really thought: ‘Hey I fallen in love of a special band! A band that don’t think
only to have success..and that don’t write always the same songs..’
And for example I also heard that when “Untitled” came out with the video..and it start
to turn around the world,on all the music TV like MTV,an American association
(formed from some american mothers,that are against the people who drive like drunk)
They chose this song “Untitled” as their emblem! I don’t joke it’s true!
So it mean that also most of the songs that this band write have got an important meaning!
So I think..why some people like to throw to them plastic bottle at their concert? It didn’t happen only one time! This kind people..I don’t know..are crazy or better mentally retarded!
They should be ashamed!
Anyways..I really feel lucky to love this band call “Simple Plan”
To love their music,I feel lucky to love this 5 guys for what they are,and,for what they do,

If someone (non-famous), died and wanted to donate all of their money to the foundation, could they. Because I don’t have a lot of money in a savings account, but if something happened to me, could I take the money I have and donate it to the foundation? I think that would be a good idea, but you guys thought of it, so I can’t change that. But I was just asking.
Great on the donation too… I love foundations, because they raise a lot of money for really great causes. Like my aunt survived breast cancer and we help with any breast cancer foundation.
Keep it up, pretty soon, The Simple Plan Foundation will be known throughout the world!!
