I know, I know: It seems silly to already have a day off after only one show but geography had it’s word in this decision and since the truck with all the band gear had to make it all the way here, the boys had no choice but to be off.
Our friend Jenny at Warner Sweden knows how much Chuck likes hockey, so she organized some ice time and as soon as we hit Sweden, Chuck already had his skates on. The Captain of Chuck’s team, yours truly, brought an element of toughness to the lineup and I think it’s safe to say that we had a great time. Tomorrow night, the boys will play in Stockholm, but this time Chuck will be on his drums.
Speaking of hockey, our home team The Montreal Canadiens clinched a playoff spot this week, so this video goes out to them with Chuck showing them what kind of moves they will need to make it to the Cup. Congrats to the team, Go Habs Go! Next up is our friend Jose’s team, the Colorado Avalanche, to get a spot. They are fighting a very tough battle in the west where the standings have never been so tight. Good for them that they can count on the best goal keeper to make sure that they make it to the top. This is going to be an exciting spring! Go Avs.

I sometimes watch ice hockey in TV here in Poland and it’s really interesting:) Yeah, at firt I couldn’t see the puck ;D but now I have bigger TV:) I’m sorry, I don’t really know the rules but we play something like hockey at school. And there’s a Polishman, Mariusz Czerkawski, who used to play in NHL maybe you know him, I don’t know in which team he used to play.
Do you like volleyball? I Looove voleyball:) That’s my favourite game. And here we go again, Canadian player, Dan Lewis plays in our team Skra BeÅ‚chatów and they will be playng in Champions League this weekend:) Cross your fingers:) Ha! And my English teacher is Canadian! Everything around me is Canadian:):)

Looks like fun when you’re playing, though. Are Canadians just born with a hockey and ice scating talent, too?! ‘Cause it seems like everybody in Sweden are… if they aren’t good on the ice, they sure are on skies.

That sucks that Chuck got food poisoning. It looks like he’s feeling better, especially since he got to play hockey.
I wish i knew how to iceskate well. I’m such a wuss. Well thats part of the disadvantages of living on the California Coast - no snow=noiceskating unless of course its a big city or something. Anyways - keep up the good work and thanks for keeping us updated Pat. Travel safely!

The show you did in Stockholm was amazing! My mom got all excited because she saw Pierre, Pat and security guys when Pierre was going to sing from the audience section and they walked through the hallway next to the arena, while waiting for me.
You did a great job hiring Elliot Minor, they really got us pumped and I’ve never been pushed in a mosh pit as hard as last night. Tiny swedish girls can really push!

Hockey is awesome, I used to play on a pond in my backyard when I lived in Canada but now I live in Texas so hockey isn’t really big here. Now I feel like playing though, but that’s not really possible now.
