The new album has been out for a few days now and hopefully most of you have already had a chance to pick up a copy and listen to it. I really, really do love the new album and the new and fresh style.
I have to confess that it is very difficult for me to decide which song is the best in my eyes..but at the moment I fell in love with Save you, because I respect the lyrics and the thing, that you wrote such a nice and honest song for your brother, Pierre!!
Well, on the Myspace secret show in stuttgart I had a hearing loss, because of all being too loud, so I’m not allowed to hear music at this moment, but though we’ll meet again in Cologne =)
Yeah, I just wanted to tell that you guys did an amazing job and that the CD as well as the DVD is fucking great!!

Great job guys!!!!!!!!!!! I have been waiting for about a month for this thing to come out. I honestly didn’t think it would ever get here. IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT. I can’t choose a favorite song. This album is not like most that I have where there is always that one or two songs that just kinda leave you feeling like “what the hell was that?” Thanx for such a ROCKIN, SLAMMIN, EMOTIONALY charged album. I have to say that the album is amazing. You’ve taken Simple Plan to a whole new level and everything’s sound’s just awesome.
It’s nice to hear honest, straight songs.. and when song’s like “Save You” is on a record, the album means so much more. Not just for me, but for you too and I can feel it when I listen to the songs. There’s so much spirit and joy in it and I really understand why you’re so proud over the album.
I love when bands take chances and try new sound, because it shows that they believe in themselves. And that’s something you did.. and I love you for that!!! So thank you for letting us in, in your lives and share the happiness of music xD

I don’t have a favourite song because I think all of them are awesome. I really like “Take my hand”, “What if”, “Generations”, “Time to say goodbye”, “I can’t wait forever” and especially “Save you” which is really amazing.

OMG! I love it so much! “No Love” and “Generation” are my favrite songs! I noticed the “anthem songs” like I’m just a kid and wlecome to my life have been kinda replaced by love/breakup songs for the most part. I like the new feel, but I do miss the old “Give me a break, I don’t know what your problem is, get outta my way” message (which is probably why I love “Generation” so much). Oh! And I LOVE the moving bass lines! You guys rock! Please come to D.C. this summer!!!

Je ne pensais pas que vous auriez été dans cette direction là avec votre album mais le changement est très bien fait et on vous reconnais dedans. I bought the new album on the webstore, so I haven’t got it yet. But a friend lent it to me. Anyway, after hearing it over and over again, here’s my opinion.
It’s just.. simply AMAZING, great, awesome, and so good ! Sure, it’s changed but you guys have changed so it’s pretty normal. The new sound is fresh.
I’ve been waiting for this new album for so long, I’m not disappointed at all. Everything’s great.
Of course there’s songs that I like more or less. I’m thinking of which song I prefer, and my favorites songs on the entire album might probably be “Holding on”, because of the rhythm and the drum and everything, “I can wait forever”, because of the sound and of the amazing Jeff’s guitar solo, “Take my hand” because of the lyrics, and finally “What if” because of (like Sebastien said) the strings, the band and the sound. “Save you” is one of my favorite as well.

I love the album; every lyric and note that’s played.
It was so worth the wait :] It’s constantly playing on my laptop or in my car (it’s going to melt soon!) and my friends are already getting annoyed. If they want to drive in my car, they’ll have to deal with it lol
I’m pretty sure I know most of the words already as well XD
I have to say my top three are “What If”, “Take My Hand” and “Time to Say Goodbye”.

This album has shown much (gasp!) maturity from you guys. Yet the “old” SP is still there. Your lyrics have always been ones in which we fans can closely relate. Just one of the reasons why we love you.

Pour être tout à fait franche, j’ai été assez surprise… parce que ce n’est pas vraiment le même son que pour les deux précédents albums. Mais finalement, ce n’est pas mal ! ^^
Je ne suis pas du tout déçue par ce troisième album qui tourne en boucle depuis mercredi (au détriment de ma famille ! :D)
Ma chanson préférée est “Your love is a lie”… pour l’instant parce qu’elle est assez facile à chanter^^. Je ne les connais pas encore toutes par coeur (oui, je sais : c’est impardonnable ! ^^) donc ma préférence évoluera peut être.
En tout cas, cet album est super !;)

The new album is the best you’ve put out so far. A great variety of different genres within it bring it to life. This has become one of my top two favourite albums EVER and I hope you guys keep up the great work! Being a drummer myself, I have to say that Chuck’s drumming as greatly improved over the years and is very well played on this new record! Great job guys!

since I bought your new album it’s playing everytime. The songs are different from the other two albums, but I love them. The songs I like the most are “Save You”, “No Love” and “When I’m Gone”. The video “When I’m Gone” is great, too. The idea is relly good.
I also like the videos on the bonus dvd. I got the last limited edition in the store and I’m so happy about it.
You did a very good job. You can be proud of you.

Best album yet, it’s different, yet it stayed “Simple Plan”. I listened to it probably 20 times since Tuesday, I can’t stop listening to it!

ça va faire un peu répétitif de dire ça, mais j’adore cet album!!! Votre meilleur c’est sûr! C’est un super évolution. ça reste Simple Plan, mais c’est plus mature, ça s’entends que c’est plus approfondi. Il est vraiment super. Rien à redire!
Ma chanson préférée change tout le temps…
En ce moment c’est Time To Say Goodbye. Holding On est super. La voix de Chuck ça le fait trop. Surtout quand il dit “Is there anybody home”… J’aime trop ce moment là … ^^
Take My Hand c’est p’tet ma deuxième préférée… Ou Generation.. Ou alors Love Is A Lie… Enfin bref il valait bien la peine d’attendre aussi longtemps…

I bought the new album, and I love it. I think the most amazing song is Save You. I think we all have someone in our lives who have passed away, or battled cancer, or another illness and we wish we could save them. All those times you wish you said I love you before leaving and didint. It makes me cry everytime I listen to it. As well as No Love being in a abusive relationship, I hope both woman and men will have the strength to move on from an abusive relationship, because there really is No Love as the song says.

When new bands come back after a while of not having made any songs or albums you sorta thing WTF!? How random. Then you instantly assume they’re just trying to make a comeback and will change all their sound and looks. And you think it’s going to be complete rubbish…

It’s like..the best band comeback EVER, because it still sounds like you guys but just that little bit different…if you get what I mean.
I’ve only just this second got the album in the post so I’m half way through listening to it and I have to say that all the songs I’ve listened to so far are absolutely AMAZING.

It’s really an awesome piece of work. I was literally dying in excitement for it to arrive in the mail on the 12th. However, it came three days before, and made me very happy. I listen to it nonstop because I really love it. Definately well worth the wait, and I was surprised om how beautifully I can Wait Forever turned out. I wansn’t expecting that a love song so perfectly harmonized and just mellow would come from you guys, no offense. It was really a nice addition on your work. I love all the songs and I can’t pick one because they’re all really great.

This year 2007 was really hard without you guys and everythings sounded a little bit to empty for me… So 2008 is the greatest year ever now you’re back! And the album is just crazy, awesome and terrific.. I’m just about to cry and jump everywhere when I listen to it! Every single song is like a gift: you know that is gonna be what you want and what you love..but to see it in the wrapping paper is so exiting.. I just can’t stop to listen the songs again and again.. and when I can’t do it I’m humming them…Awesome!
My favorite is the End which is so surprising. You’re breaking my heart each time, guys! But of course all the songs are unique. This is a new sound and I love it! Thank you for that!

Personnellement, mes chansons préférées sont “Time to Say Goodbye” (dommage qu’elle ne dure que 2′56 !) et aussi “Your Love Is a Lie”. The album it’s AMAZING! I know that not everyone but the majority always say’s that any new album is better than the other before. and that’s your case, I don’t say this just because I like your song. but it’s true, all the 3 albuns are awesome and this is the winner of all. Shit, your songs touchs the soul of anyone. When I’m listening to it i can really feel the song, they make you think of a lot of things, since the love until what is going on with the people, the world we live.
So all I can say is congratulations, keep working as you work: getting better and better.
I hope that the dream of an awesome album had come true for you, because I’m sure that for your fans it’s already had!

Salut, je n’ai pas encore l’album en main (vivement la fin de semaine pour l’avoir) mais j’ai entendu beaucoup de chansons sur Énergie (94,3 FM) et mes chansons favorites sont : The End et Your love is a lie. L’album sonne frais et nouveau c’est bien de voir que vous progresser tout en gardant votre touche pop-punk du début ^^ continuez comme ça. Votre CD est super bon, j’ai hâte au concert!

I ABSOLUTELY love the whole album. i can’t pick just one fave song but right now i have Generation stuck in my head. It’s actually been stuck in myhead for a couple of days now. I also love the bonus track, Running out of Time, you guys should definitely play that song at a live show b/c i would love to hear it live. I also like the acoustic version of When I’m Gone. C’est vraiment le meilleur des trois. Depuis que je l’ai acheté je ne peux pas m’empêcher de l’écouter. J’adore la nouvelle sonorité. C’est dur de dire laquelle des chansons est ma préféré, mais j’ai un gros faible pour take my hand, save you et generation.

Your album is FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!! It’s seriously the most incredible album I have ever heard in my life!
It’s the first time I’ve loved all the songs and not have just one as my favourite!
The Deluxe version’s awesome and the DVD was really cool and funny, and I never get bored listening to your jokes (no matter how lame they can be).
It’s really easy to connect to the lyrics and its hard not to be impressed.
Amazing Job!!!!!!! Thanks for making such an amazing album and being so great to your fans.

Salut, vous avez fait un excellent travail. J’ai eu la chance de vous voir 7 fois dont a montreal il y a un mois et je dois dire que j’aime beaucoup ce nouvel album. IL est plus mature, plus profond et peut-importe les chansons, les paroles peuvent nous rejoindre car dans la vie il y a des hauts et des bas. J’aime beaucoup le nouveaux coté plus urbain qui est tres actuel. toute les chanson sont excellente. J’ai seulement hate daller vous voir Live. Merci a vous qui accompagner ma vie depuis maintenant pres de 6 ans !

hey guys, well you asked for our opinions, so here is mine:
you definitely can be VERY PROUD, the album is amazing!
It SO WAS WORTH all the waiting!
However, I can’t tell you which song I like the most, I love them all and I’ve been listening to the cd since monday over and over again^^
I think you really took Simple Plan to a next level, it sounds so new and fresh but it’s defenitely still SP!
I really like the lyrics, I like the r&b beats, I like the old-school songs, I like the very personal ones, oh and I really love Chuck’s parts on the record (that was a great idea btw^^)
I love the other two records as well and I wouldn’t be able to choose one as “the best one” cause every single record has its very own style.
Just keep up your great work and stay exactly the way you are..cause you are AWESOME!

Hey guys. I don’t comment very often on your websites, but I’ve been a big fan since around 2003 when I first heard “Grow Up”. It was in some video game that I was playing. You guys have been my favourite band ever since. I’m 15 years old now.
I think that “Simple Plan” was your best album yet. I bought the basic, clean version on iTunes because I didn’t have enough money for the “Special” edition. I already have enough videos of you guys singing “Crazy” anyway, hahaha..
I was a little disappointed in the fact that you say “f*cked” in “Your Love Is A Lie”, and thus, that has become my least favourite song on the album. Also, it’s not ver well edited out on the clean version of the album. I don’t know if that’s on purpose or not.
I’m a big fan of “Time To Say Goodbye”, because it parallels a real-life situation of mine… only it’s with a town instead of a girlfriend. And now I’m leaving and moving back to Canada yay
I also really like “The End”, “Take My Hand”, “Save You”, and of course, “When I’m Gone”. “Generation” also has some great hooks.
I’d say that this is hands-down your best album yet. However, I don’t understand how everyone thinks that you’ve got some “new style” or whatever. I think that the album is very much in your style… it just sounds like a natural progression of your music.
Again, I love the album, and I might actually see you on tour later this year if you come to the Toronto area, as that’s where I’ll be living at that time.

I love the new album! It’s absolutely amazing. Better than I expected, even. But I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this one haha. But it’s definitely my favorite album of all time now.
Even my friends who claim not to like your music have said that this album is really good. So I guess that’s a good sign!
If I had to pick a favorite song, it would probably be Take My Hand. I love the “hey hey”s in the intro. And the second verse is really good too. I also like No Love. ’specially the chorus in that one. And Holding On! Chuck has a vocal part, hehe. And Pierre sounds soooo good in I Can Wait Forever. Especially right at the very beginning. I keep listening to that part over and over again cuz you sound so good Pierre! And the solo in the bridge is AMAZING. LOVE IT.
Your Love Is A Lie is really good too. And Generation, I was like WOAH. And in The End, I really like the chorus after the bridge, it sounds really cool.
Aaaand the rest of the songs are really good too. I would go on about all of them except I think this is already pretty long so I’ll stop now

it is certainly more pop than punk rock, which has its pros and cons. i would say it is not as catchy as some other albums, and i don’t know if the songs have the staying power of past songs like addicted and welcome to my life and untitled. the best songs are End, No Love, and Holding On…generation and what if could have been left off the cd entirely…and your love is a lie sounds a little too much like oasis as well as boulevard of broken dreams (green day). I would say it is an average, but very catchy cd. i would look for some changes back to their old punk rock direction to keep my interest, though.

Le nouvel album est tout simplement génial à écouter. C’est un son différent que j’aime bien. Comme toune préférer, c’est encore dure à dire puisque lorsqu’il y a une chanson que j’aime, j’ai tendance a faire mode repeat alors je ne me suis pas encore rendu tres loin. Mais pour une premiere écoute j’ai bien aimer. The End est en ce moment la chanson que je préfere. J’ai la version limité et j’ai eu la chance de pouvoir regarder le DVD en entier, qui est tres intéressant à écouter. Quelque petit moment exclusif woohoo. Ce qui serait le fun aussi est un nouveau DVD comme vous avez faites dans le passé. GOOD JOB!!
Comme chuck et david, quand je suis allée acheter le cd, la chanson when im gone jouait dans le magasin!! Faut croire que c’est la toune de l’heure!!!

it took me sometime to come here and make a decent comment, cuz i was trying to learn some pretty nice words in english to tell you guys how i felt when i first listened to the whole record. i looked over the dicionary and didn’t find a really really good word to do it, so i’m gonna stick with my not-so-big vocabulary but still able to make an idea of how IN FREAKING LOVE i am with your new CD.
seriously… since i heard the songs’ names, i was like DYING to listen to generation.. and now, after (check out my itunes) 67 times playing this one almost non-stop since sunday, i guess, i’m completely sure that this song in particular is the most amazing simple plan song EVER. it has GOT me, hahaha. generation is pretty much the coolest song i’ve EVER heard and its like.. my entire family is able to sing the ‘hey ho leeet’s goooo’ part with me already hahaha.
THEN, i gotta say that ‘no love’ is deffinately something to be in love with without thinking, the chorus is just so catchy and.. and AMAZING. here, the first word i think can describe a little bit of this music: AMAZING.
’save you’ brought tears to my eyes and the lyrics are so strong and full of feelings! like chuck said, its fo’sho the best lyrics you guys could ever do & has done. this song makes me shiver whenever i hear it, SAME WITH ‘what if’! WHATS UP WITH THIS SONG????? sebastien is so freaking right choosing this one to be his favorite, it’s just… NEXT LEVEL OF SHIT (like chuck said about my country, brazil :])! no words, seriously, no words to describe how good and incredible this song is, i’m in love with it and i love the thing that heroes gave inspiration for you guys to do what if. like,

It was DEFINITELY worth the wait =), can’t say i have a favourite song though, they’re all too GOOD, can’t decided between them. The album has been playing REPEATEDLY since i got it =), it’s AMAZING =). I have a favourite bit in each song, i feel like putting my favourite bits of each song together to make like a remix? haha, anyway i guess you do have to grow up sometime cuz the new album shows that you guys have definitely MATURED, and pierre, your new hairstyle makes you look much more matured as well. I really love the new album, just as much as I love the previous ones. On Monday I got a note from the post office (that doesn’t really exist anymore…), saying that they had my package from Merchdirect. I was really excited, and my dad wouldn’t give me a ride so I had to walk to get it. But it was so worth it (he drove to pick up the package with the limited edition cd on Tuesday, thank god)

david, yesterday my friend made me listen to the entire record just to hear the bass’ parts and let me tell you something: i’m in love with it. you’re a genious and the ‘dances’ & grooves you do with the bass are freaking nutts and gorgeous. congrats, little boy! CHUCKLEEEEEEEES, drummieeeeee! couldn’t let you out of it.. cuz you know, a band without a drummer is not a band, is it? you’ve done a wonderful job, like.. the drums are rocking so hard i can’t even tell! & i LOVED how you spoke in ‘holding on’, it made the song one of my fav.! and last, but not least.. pierre, whats up with you? your singing is so so so so so so passionate and like… o-m-g, i’m in total love with your voice and everything. its so much better, bigger, stronger… basically, its freaking gorgeous. everything, the whole thing, all the instruments, all the singing, all the lyrics, all the beats, all all all so gorgeously perfect (lol).

i’m so so amazed with each brand new song and each brand second of the songs, everytime i listen to them, i get myself thinking ‘oh-my-god, how the waiting was worth it.’ because it really was. i’m actually happy that it took so long to come out now, cuz the way i was desperate for new songs and seeing how perfectly awsome they are now, all i can say is pretty much ‘oh my god’. thats what describes me right now. i’m surprised of how much in love and how amazing is your new cd… the best record of 2008 AND 2007, cuz it was supposed to be realesed in 2007!

I have to admit, first listen I was kind of skeptical of. not really feeling it, you know. second listen to it, it really hit me, and I remembered why I fell in love with this band in the first place. you guys know how to make music, you do it well, and it never fails to blow my fucking mind.
you guys are also become better lyricists with each song. there’s no longer that young immaturity and semi-naivety to the words. just reading the lyrics is enough to show how much you guys have grown up over the years. add the music on top of that, and it’s easy to tell you’re no longer boys anymore.
my favourite song changes all the time, but right now I’m loving ‘Time To Say Goodbye’ and ‘Holding On.’

J’adore l’album et je trouve que vous avez fait du fabuleux travail. Ce n’est pas facile pour un groupe d’évoluer musicalement mais ce renouvellement est selon moi nécessaire et je crois que vous avez très bien réussi à garder votre essence tout en parcourant différents styles musicaux.
J’ai plusieurs chansons préférées et c’est difficile d’en choisir qu’une seule… Ma super top préférée est Holding on, j’ai des frissons à chaque fois que je l’entends. Ma seconde préférée est Take my hand. Ma troisième préférée est Your love is just a lie (j’adore le petit bout obscène ;). Je les aime toutes mais c’est mon Top 3 !!

My fave ones are when im gone, your love is a lie, the end, take my hand, time to say goodbye, save you (omg), no love, holding on (in no particular order). basically more of the half songs =D=D i love the song save you. its so emotional and i cant stop singing it =D i adore chuck’s “singing” in holding on. its so cute and kinda funny - i love it :Pp i mean this is like the best album ever =D you guys did a great job (no surprise)=D=D

Le nouvel album est vraiment très bon. J’aime particulièrement les chanson où Pierre chante plus grave; c’est différent et j’adore ça. J’adore The End et Take my hand. Presque chaque fois que j’entends Save you, j’ai des frissons. Je n’ai jamais vécu de situation semblable, mais je peux très bien l’imaginer. Dans tous l’album, il n’y a qu’une chanson que je n’aime pas tellement (Holding on). J’aime l’originalité des parties parlées, mais à part ça… De toute façon, c’est rare que j’aime toute les chansons sur n’importe quel album.

The new album is totally awesome! It is completely different from the last two albums but still a comfortable sound to still love it from you. I got the CD but I ordered the special edition so I can’t wait to see how you made the record. Generation is my favorite but the whole album is awesome! Keep up the good job!

Hey you guys! FREAKIN’ AWESOME JOB!!!!! .>;;
Well, all I could say after going through the whole album [which took an hour because I loved ‘Take My Hand’ and ‘Running out of Time’ so much I had to listen to them more than once] all I could say was WOW. It was totally amazing, and I can’t stop listening to it. My mom threatened to take away my iPod because I’m annoying her with my extremely loud Simple Plan-ness blasting through the house. Heh. She can get over herself.
I have to tell you, ‘Take my Hand’ , ‘No Love’ , ‘Save You’ , ‘Generation’ [hehe, it makes me laugh ;)] , ‘Running out of Time’ , and ‘Your Love is a Lie’ are all my favorites. Each one is significant to me somehow [except for ‘Running out of Time; it’s just cool like that], and they’re all forceful and exciting to listen to. Powerful lyrics are what you guys are known for, and I’m glad you haven’t changed a bit in that sense. Like I said before, you’re definitely a lot more mature and a bit more adult-sounding this album than you were in the others, and that’s never a bad thing. I applaud you for everything you’ve done on this album, and I have to say it was worth the wait, definitely.
The only songs I don’t really like are ‘I Can Wait Forever’ and ‘Holding On’. Sorry Chuck! D: It’s not because of Chuck’s part, it’s just the song is too slow for my tastes. -.-; ‘I Can Wait Forever’ just kinda gets on my nerves.
I used to be in love with ‘When I’m Gone’, but you can only go so long with the same song over and over. 
I LOVE the acoustic version, though! It’s purty.
Thank you guys for everything you do for the fans! As far as I know, you guys are the only band who practically lives on camera to entertain and inform us with everything you know, and I’m so glad you do! I would never live if you guys didn’t put a smile on my face at least once a week. Thank you SOOOOOOO MUCH! I love you, and you should never stop being awesome or we’ll all die! D:

I bought the new album on the 11. and I just want you to know, that I’m in love with it! It’s a really great album you’ve made. Seriously I’m proud of you, you’ve made such a different album, but yet it’s still so Simple Plan. I can’t wait to hear you perform the new songs, when you’re playing a gig in Copenhagen (Denmark) the 30.3.08. I’m running around singing ‘Your love is a lie’ (favourite song), ‘Save you’ and ‘what if’ and all the rest of the songs all the time. I think it makes my mum insane

once again you guys come out with somethin fresh!!!! it never fails just when you think the last album was the best so far you guys change it up. i think its the best move ever made. as far as the best song it definatley has to be ” the end”. i played it a party and people were like who is this? and when i said simple plan they were shocked. keepup the great work guys cant wait til you guys come up to northern california. shout out to lachelle and jaime for getting me onstage at the clearlake show!!!!

heyy simple plan the new cd is really awesome. y like all the music, the lyrics are excellent and pierre`s voice is the best of all the world! i love you guys and i can`t waite to see you in argentina. although, this cd is a little bit diferrent from the others.. i mean you don`t sing i dont wanna be told to grow uupp because you`ve allready grown up. i still love you simple plan and you are the best band ever.

It’s amazing! I can’t find words, it is so good. I really love it. When I heard the second song(because I had already heard when I’m gone) I just thought it was rocking cool and I started dancing. It’s the same style as on the other albums but a new rocking sound.
You’ve done a fantastic work with this new album.

I love every song on the new album =D But I think Save You is just spectacular because of the meaning behind it, it makes me want to cry when I hear it…You guys did great on this album and it was well worth the wait =)

j’ai été très surprise par cet album mais dans le bon sens, ça sonne différent mais on sent bien la touche simple plan. ce que j’aime chez un groupe c’est quand il ne se limite pas au même son a chaque album, quand il prend des risques et c’est exactement ce que vous avez fait. en plus j’ai eu la chance d’avoir votre album la veille de la sortie. quand je suis allé chez mon discaire habituel le 11 dans la soirée iml était déjà en rayon. j’ai pas hésité une seule seconde je l’ai acheté sur le champ. j’écoute en boucle when i’m gone, the end, your love is a lie, take my hand et save you. en gros le début de l’album. en tout cas, bravo pour cet album.

I absolutely L-O-V-E the new album! I got the cd/dvd version yesterday (and I also got my tickets to see you play live in Helsinki in March! Now that was a great Valentine’s Day eh?
I’ve had a LOT of time to listen to the songs (I’ve been stuck at home with the flu) and I like the songs more and more every time. My faves (at the moment) are The End, Take My Hand and Generation. That is if I have to name a few.. I really truly like all the songs!

les chansons que je préfère c save you et what if et puis oci generation et the end! c’est pas du tout pareil que les autres disques mais ça reste être simple plan! I’m proud of you! les paroles continuent à être aussi bonnes et aussi touchantes; vous avez fait plein de nouveautés par rapport à la musique et vous savez ce qui est fantastique…que ça sonne génial!

the words I know aren’t enough to describe this album… it’s just perfect!!!
I love all the songs… “Save you” is very deep. “I can wait forever” is very romantic. “Generation” has a cool power. I loved the beat of “No love” and “What if”. I start singing “Holding on” and “What if” during my classes
but, really, I loved the whole CD!
I’ve been reading what some critics said about the new album… There are many cool opinions

alors par où commencer … votre album est FANTASTIQUE c’est un vrai chef d’Å“uvre!! vous pouvez pas savoir à quel je l’aime !! toutes les chansons sont magnifiques !! elles passent en boucle chez moi ou dans ma voiture !! j’ai déja tous les airs de vos chansons dans ma tête et j’espère vraiment les garder très logtemps car je les adore!!
mes proches doivent en avoir un peu marre car je ne parle que de vous et je n’arrete pas de chanter vos chansons !!

bref les textes et les musiques de ces chansons sont vraiment exceptionnels !! c’est vrai que c’est différent des albums précédents mais c’est aussi extraordinaire voire même plus encore !!

Votre album est juste trop malade!! Je l’adore vraiment! Définitivement, ça valait la peine d’attendre longtemps pour écouter ces super chansons! =) C’est fou comment que vous avez évolués et j’adore que vous avez osé prendre des risques comme ça et arriver avec un nouveau son. C’est tellement bon!! Vous avez tous monté votre niveau d’un cran et c’est super ce que ça donne. J’adore le fait qu’on entend beaucoup plus de backs vocals que dans SNGA et surtout qu’on entend beaucoup David et Seb faire les backs
Et Generation je l’aime beaucoup quand je vais m’entrainer! Ça me met dedans! 
Et What If est superbe!! Les violons et tout avec les guits et le drum, ça fait tellement un beaux mix!!
C’est très dur à dire quelles sont mes chansons préféré. J’ai accroché dès la première écoute sur Holding On, je sais pas pourquoi. Mais j’aime beaucoup entendre Chuck, c’est bien drôle;) Et entendre David chanter seul quelques phrases c’est super! J’aime l’entendre chanter!=)J’aime aussi Take My Hand, j’adore la track de bass quand Pierre commence à chanter au début de la chanson!
J’ai très très hâte de voir revoir live!! J’espère que vous allez faire des show au Québec au printemps ou à l’été ;))

Hi ! New album is awsome ! My favourite song is Save You becouse it’s about war with problems…u know what I mean, and it’s important to me. My another fav song is Generation. It’s the best song for bad days. Just like When I’m Gone and Time To Say Goodbye. I Can Wait Forever is amazing. When I have problems with love The End, I Can Wait Forever and Your Love Is A Lie are good to make me feel better. Rest is super too. But I can’t say when they are the best. But I love all new songs. I have your new songs everywhere on my mp3. And everebody in my family and my friends know this record. It’s good job ! Very good job.

What’s up SP!?!?! Guy’s I have to admit, I really really like the new album. When I first heard it I was a bit skeptical because I thought it was soo different than past albums but it only took a short period of time to grow on me and now I really like the new sound that has mixed in some hip hop beats. My favorite song by far is “Your Love is a Lie” because of the lyrics and the sound is just so powerful. “Save You” is a really good song and connected with me a lot because it touches on situations in my life. Again, awesome job on the new record! You guys have me anxious to hear the next album! Come to Houston, TX so I can see you guys rock in concert again. Take care!

ba votre album il est juste trop génial!!!je sais pas combien de fois je l’ai écouté en entier, mon petit frère ne le supporte plus tellement la musique est forte quand je suis sous la douche lol ma chanson préférée c’est “Take my hand” elle déchire tout! “Save you” est super belle, il ya plein d’émotion qui passe au travers de la voix de Pierre. Quand vous aviez annoncé que Chuck allé chanter sur l’album j’étais trop heureuse, mais j’étais un peu décue car on ne reconné pas vraiment sa voix…lol “What if” aussi est vachement bien, ça change un peu de votre style le début, mais c’est génial quand même lol en fait j’adore tout l’album.J’avais peur d’être déçue après “tant d’années” lol qu’on attendait votre album mais francheent ça en vallait la peine!vous avez évoluez mais franchement c’est dans le bon sens! continuez nous donner de la bonne musique et des préstations qui déchire, je vous adore tous les cinq gros bisous de France!

When I first heard some of the songs, I wasn’t sure that I was going to like the album. The new sound had to grow on me. I decided to buy the album and give it a chance because I love you guys. I am so glad I did because I LOVE it. I didn’t like generation at first but now it’s catching on. The song “No Love” reminds me of my parents relationship when I was a kid. Thankfully they made the wise decision to divorce. My most favorite songs are “Your Love is a Lie” and “Save You”. I have already listened to it so many times in the couple days since I have had it that I know all the words to most of the songs. I can’t wait until you come to San Diego on tour.

It’s very difficult to choose on the best song. But my ‘best’ songs are: “Take My Hand”, “Generation”, “Time To Say Goodbye”, “I Can Wait Forever”, “What If”. First time, when I heard “The End”, I thought: It could be great song. I don’t hang on it.
I must say that’s next GREAT album
Those songs are very catching, powerful, and.. they rock. This all of styles and different genres sounds great with rock music.

The new record is very different at the first sight. It’s somehow still the old sound, though. Anyhow I think a ballad is missing. Like “untitled” on the last record. It didn’t fit in, but I like that kind of song.

Voila, j’ai moi aussi ma copie de l’album Simple Plan. Je vous adore depuis “no pads…” bien que je l’ai decouvert un peu tard! j’ai accrocher sur “i’m just a kid” et j’ai donc enchainer avec vos 2 premiers album(Et “A big Package…”)…puis le live Hard Rock.Pour être honnete il y a encore un mois j’etais pas sure d’acheter ce 3eme album, j’ai pas vraiment accrocher ur “When I’m gone” mais les extraits des autre titres m’ont fait changer d’avis (merci pour toute ces exclus c’etait extra)… Et j’vous aime trop pour lacher votre musique maintenant!lol Personnellement j’aime beaucoup “Your love is a lie ” et aussi “the end” ou meme “holding on” rien que pour le fait que Chuck chante (enfin parle ,enfin…lol) j’trouve ca chouette. Alors voila j’adorerai venir vous voir a Paris en avril mais ca va pas etre possible, alors je vous en prie revenez en France et dans l’ouest svp !! bon j’arretes sinon vous lirez jamais ce commentaire vu la longueur!

I think that the new songs came out great and are very emotional, it’s like, when you hear it, it really touches you and make you think.

i still havn’t gotten it
!!!i was supposed to at looney tunes but it was cancelled.
i heard many of the songs and the album is great..i’m just disappointed because i miss that punk rock, simple plan original sound. the subjects of the songs like i’m just a kid and welcome to my life were so deep and i feel the album has turned simple plan into more of a pop singer, with many romance songs. i prefer thee deeper topics.

Hi guys!!The new album is AMAZING, It´s a bit different but we haven´t words to describe our emotion. Some of the songs we love are “take my hand” ( It´s very powerful ), “the end” and ” generation “, we think are very energic and we jump a lot with these songs,we love it :p.
“Your love is a lie” and “save you”…they´re very emotional and pretty. We are sincere…we cry with this song.
Really,all these songs could have been the single,they are very fine!!

I love all the songs. I found that the lyrics were really intense and meaningful the guitars and bass and drums were great it all fits so good together. My favorites would have to be “Save you” for sure, “Generation” and “Time To Say goodbye” but I also love “No Love” and “Take my hand”… You know I just love them all. Anyways I say great job it’s an amazing album.

Totally represents the new record…it has the new and the old sound in it and i LOVE it.
Take my hand –
A real Power Song. Totally rocks. The slow part near the end is WOW!
The End –
Pierre’s voice sounds really strange in the verses; not really like him. The Chorus is totally SP, fucking great.
Love is a lie –
Amazing lyrics. Fucking love that song and am so glad that its gonna be the next single. It sounds live amazing as well.
Save you –
My Favourite from the record!I cried the first time i heard that song. The lyrics are so intense. It hits home so bad for me, cause my mom is sick. It talks right out of my heart. Thank you!
Generation –
That song is so awesome live. I really like the lyrics – so true! Im diggin it! One of my favourites from the record.
Time to say goodbye –
My second favourite song. The intro is awesome. Its old school SP, but i love it.
I can wait forever –
What a power Ballade. The lyrics are so beautiful. The guitar rocks. And the piano gives it such a soft touch.
Holding on –
I think i can hear a Chuck ;). Great lyrics. Good song, but not one of my faves. Sorry.
No Love –
The lyrics are so touching. Love the second verse. Its such a beautiful song.
What if –
WOW…gets bigger and bigger….its like an anthem. Love the strings.
Running out of time –
TOTALLY old school SP. Such a great and fast song. And the lyrics are so true.
That record was definately worth the wait. Amazing work, guys.

I’m loving the new album. I’m not the biggest hip-hop fan in the world, so when I heard that Danja was going to be working on it, I was very apprehensive about the whole thing. The songs all still have that Simple Plan kick to them that I fell in love with on the “No Pads…” album (and, to be honest, I felt that some part of “SNGA…” were missing that same thing). It’s been the only CD played in my car for the last three days and it’s the only CD that will be played in there for the next couple of weeks, I’m sure. It really is the kind of third album a band hopes to have.

I love how much work you put into it, guys. You can defenitly feel that with this album.
That being said, Still Not Getting Any still grabbed me more. I don’t know… that one just captured my attention and hasn’t let go.
This reocrd is nothing short of amazing though, I will add that. It seems like some of the songs were written for me. Many of the songs struck me on a personal level, which was really cool. No Love describes my home life. Time To Say Goodbye describes how I feel about one of my old friends.
This album, while having a popish feel, is defenitly a lot rockier. All of you have improved so, so much. There’s more energy, the experimentation brings just what you were hoping - a fresh sound.
I can’t say I dislike any of the songs. My least favourite is I Can Wait Forever and When I’m Gone. When I’m Gone was simply overplayed on the radio here, and I dunno. Something about the verses on I Can Wait Forever just bugs me. The chorus I adore though!
This record is so fun to sing along to, and it gets you moving. Take My Hand is so upbeat, I put it on repeat and just dance.
Honestly, I didn’t care for Generation too much at first, but looking at my iTunes now, I’d say it’s one of my favourites. It’s been played the most. Holding On…. wow. It’s almost got a U2 sound to it. It’s one of my favourite songs. Ever. From any band, and for that it recieved the honour of being the first ringtone I ever downloaded.
Kudos boys! The whole thing is great! Still Not Getting Any is still my favourite, but this album exceeded expectations. I didn’t really think it would beat SNGA, but it was close in the end.

The new CD is an absolute masterpiece. I’m an older guy (let’s just say 50 more or less). Musically, I am a Pink Floyd/Led Zep kind of guy. However, my daughter introduced me to SP a few years ago. We have seen SP live at four concerts so far. This new CD really demonstrates the musical talent of all of the guys. I think that it far outshines the previous two releases, both of which I absolutely loved. The new release shows the kind of creativity that is so rare in the music world. I have bought four of the regular CDs and one of the deluxe versions. One regular CD for my daughter, one regular CD for me, one deluxe CD for my daughter, and two extra CDs just because it’s that good!!!!

OMG the album is AMAZING. I ditched school as soon as I could to get to the mall on time for the music stores to open so I could get it! I risked getting jumped by gangsters when I walked to the mall, but it was all worth it for you guys!! I’ve been listening to it NONSTOP. I think my favorite song is Generation, it’s just so fun and it makes me wanna dance. And Hold On has got to be another of my favorites too. Chuck’s vocal part owns!
I love you guys and I’ll love you and your music forever no matter what. The new CD was WELL worth the wait. The new music just blew me away. Thanks so much for making such a great new album. You guys ROCK.

I pre-ordered it and I got it on the 11th so I was pretty happy about that. I really love it. There’s lots of stuff on there that doesn’t even sound like you guys so it’s very fresh but there’s still a couple songs that are definitely old-school simple plan songs so it was pretty much the perfect album, and I think it’s going to do great, and that you should come to Nebraska and perform these wonderful new songs live for me

I have 3 copies of the album! And it’s so hard for me to choose a favourite song, because they are all favourites to me. Just in different ways because they are all so great. So all of them are favourites! Though I have to say, Save You breaks my heart. In a GOOD way. It’s an amazing song, I’m really impressed with the feeling you have out in your voice for this song, Pierre, it’s so clear that you really mean everything you sing. Good job, guys!

I really love the new CD. I can’t stop listening to it. I kinda identify with a lot of the songs. I really like “Your love is a lie”, “Save you”, and “Take my hand”. You guys should come to Tennessee cause no bands I like ever do. Keep up the great work!

I love the new cd. Out of all the cds this one is my favorite. My favorite song is Save You because I can relate to that song. My dad was diagnosed with non-hodgkins cancer this past summer. On Tuesday my dad told me that 99 percent of it is gone. I was so excited. But I love your guys new cd.

J’adore le nouvel album. Les tounes sont catchy, le nouveau son est génial. Par contre *je sais, j’peux être plate!* y’a quelques fois où les textes laissent un peu à désirer. Je sais que c’est vachement pas easy d’écrire des chansons, mais le début de Time To Say GoodBye, je le trouve bouetteux un mini peu! Mais en général, c’est nice!!! J’adore toujours autant et Generation est ma chanson préférée. Lâchez pas et représentez-nous fièrement à travers le monde! Ah et si vous pouviez me faire une petite place dans vos valises, ce serait kool!!!

But ‘Generation’ (very energetic beat), ‘Your Love is a Lie’ (for some reason, I really like the beginning notes of this song… it gives me shivers), ‘When I’m Gone’ (love the lyrics) and ‘No Love’ are the ones I keep playing on repeat on my MP3 ^^”

Kay, so. I was really pissed off when I heard I was going to have to wait until Feb. 12th to get my Simple Plan on; but it was worth it! I honestly believe you guys took the right amount of time working on this one. It’s phenomenal. I was more excited about this album than the Matches album “Decomposer”; which is hard since they’re my favorite band. All in all, the lyrics and music were great and the vibe is just so–exhilarating. Loooooooooooooove it/youuu.

I really love the ‘old SP’, but the ‘new SP’ is better ^^
I prefer Save You, it’s emotional, the history.

voici un comment d’un québécois ainsi que d’un musicien loll.
Personellement je trouve que l’album est vraiment fou raide !!. Il sonne tellement. les guites sonne comme un tonne de briques, la bass pogne au coeur, le drum, fantastique !! et le sampling merveilleux. Mes préférées sont Take My hand, The End, Save You et What if. take my hand est une toune de char, tu te promene les fenetres baissées l’été en écoutant sa. the end, touen de party . save you, les lyrics sont malade, et que dire de l’intro. guite acoustique qui sonne à la perfection. et finalement What if. non mais, il y a tu une toune qui sonne plus que sa !?!?! l’intro en strings fait l’album d’apres moi, et quand la guite clean embarque avec un peu de chorus on dirait que c’est magique.
cette album mérite un bon 9/10. à cause de Generation, qui d’après moi, fit moin avec le reste de l’album, elle reste une tres bonne chanson mais dans l’ensemble, moin.
Sur ce, très bon album. je le conseille à tout le monde

AWSOME cd. Really well done guys!!!!!! Like the new twist you put in to it. My absolute favoritsong is What If, love the orcester in the beginning and then boom a rock sound. A really cool combo. The Lyrics is also something that talkes to me. I recognize my self in it. Save you and your love is a lie, i can’t wait forever are also in top. It is hard to make one song now in the begining, the are all so good! Alought, I did like almost everysong, but graduation is a litle too diffrent, but i know for sure that i will start to love it soon. did instantly love the “heyhoos”.

I love, love, love this album! My favorite songs are Take My Hand and Generation. I love the new type of sound but I love that it still has bits of old Simple Plan too. I can’t wait to hear Holding On live. That should be interesting with Chuck’s background rhyming.

I have to say that you can really tell that you’ve been working hard! Each song feels so right! Though I have to say, Your Love is a Lie, sounds a bit like Brian McFaddens “Real to me”.
But, I love it anyways, it’s better then Brians :). The lyrics are so Simple Plan! And that’s what I love about you.

i bought the cd/dvd and i also got the limited edition vinyl from looney tunes. love the new album. some of my favorites are definitely Your Love is A Lie, Save You, I Can Wait Forever, and Holding On. okay here we go!
I like Take my hand because of the lyrics, of course, plus i think the chorus is really catchy. 
My favourite soong would definaly be either Holing On or Take My Hand. I really like Holing On because I love Chucks “rhyming” (lmao, i’ve seen the DVD), i love the David part in it, too. “Whenever I need you, wherever i run to, ill know where to find you…” love it! plus i love the lyrics and i can totally relate to ‘em.
I find that for quite a few of your songs make me shiver. in a good way. Songs like Meet You There, Perfect, Untitled and now Save You. I love them, especially Save You.
Just to say: i love the lyrics off Generation and What If. I can totally relate to them. You can probably see that in my opinion the lyrics are imortant. i think they are. no matter the melody, if the lyrics are good, and I can relate to them, Im gonna like the song (with exeptions of course). I can relate to most of your songs.

l’album est très entrainant et on voit que les arrangements ont été très travaillés. Cependant je n’ait pas aimé le solo de trompette au début de generation, la chanson aurait été aussi belle sans. Mais en général c’est un très bon album, bravo!

I think it a very good record… I also think that in some songs it’s not really SP. I know that you been working very hard to finde a stile that are a mix between the new SP and the old one and in some songs I think you’ve done an amezing work and you’ve finde the perfect balanse but in some song you’ve not really finde it. I Love the record anyway becous it’s SP and it will allways be good.

I LOVE IT! it is amazing, all your songs have such a great meaning
and it’s hard to just choose one.
If I had to chose one of your amazing songs it would have to be probably Save you. I just had a karaoke night last night and I sang it to my mom because she has…a problem and she loved it also

The new album is so great!! I like the new sound, so different to your first album especially but I likeeeee it! There are so many cool songs in this album!! I loveee I Can Wait Forever and Your Love Is a Lie!!!!!! They are so great!!! I can’t stop listening to them!!! Well… I can’t stop listening to de new album rather (: So, good job guys!!

Hey guys, I’m a long time fan! The new album is good but it doesn’t like SP anymore:( I mean, I still bought it, I still like it and I will still come to your shows but the new City and Colour record came out the same day and Simple Plan III just doesn’t measure up to Dallas’s new stuff from Bring Me Your Love. Some songs are really good but song make me think that you’ve changed a little too much. I still love you all and will see you at Much on Tuesday.

As soon as I got the album I listened to it straight away lol. The songs are kinda different from your old stuff, but more… mature, I guess is the word. I can’t really explain. But I love every one of them. They’re very unique and I can tell you put a lot of effort into each of them.

J’adore votre nouvel album. Je dois admettre qu’au début, quand j’ai entendu “When I’m gone”, j’étais plutôt septique. Mais après avoir écouter le cd entier, c’est claire, j’adore. Votre son est nouveau, rafraîchissant, plus mature.. vraiment tout pour plaire!
J’aime tout l’album, mais les chansons “take my hand”, “the end”, “Generation” et “No Love” m’ont vraiment accroché!

The new CD is definitely different from your past CD’s, but I completely understand why it is. And it’s not all different, because the new CD is truly a true Simple Plan experience, through and through. I pre-ordered the limited edition CD/DVD combo and also got a t-shirt. My fave tracks are “Your Love Is A Lie”, “Save You”, “I Can Wait Forever”, and “No Love”. I like the other songs too, but those are my faves. I really love the intro to “Your Love Is A Lie”, it’s incredible, extra kudos to whoever thought that up. I too play both the guitar and the drums. I can almost play that intro, its a bit tricky. I also almost have the chorus to “I Can Wait Forever” down. All in all any die hard SP fan like myself, will embrace the new CD with wide open arms, and ears.

its diffrent thats what you wanted i hated it at frist (before i bought it) cause it wasn’t the same as your other alumbs which i love! but i am opening my mind and looking at it in a new way so right now its starting to some songs are starting grow on me! but they all have great meanings!!
overall you guys did a great job i think it was a hard choice and you stuck to it and came out with something new and fresh which is what some of use needed i guess
i bought the limited edition the DVD was amsome but JUMP more please in live preformances JUMPING RULES i haven’t been able to put the music on my ipod yet cause my computer stop working and wont play dvd’s but good job i hope this alumb does will even if i don’t “love” there alot of poeple out there that are finding your name now

Dude, this CD has probably been the only thing that Ive been waiting for, and now that it;s finally here I canlt stop listening to it. I always have the CD in hand and am always listening to it in class, sometime I wonder of i Get caught, but I’m always like “Who cares this Cd rox!!!”

great job guys! I think the main difference with the previous album is that pretty much all the songs are good… I must admit that there were songs from the second record that I would always skip
but with this one it’s different! pierre sings well, the lyrics make sense (I’m afraid that is not so commmon nowadays!), and the pattern of the backup voices is more varied. The only song I don’t like is “generation”… that sounds so unlike simple plan! then, “save you” definitely gets me all emotional and I also like “take my hand” because it’s in the old simple-plan style. I guess you have turned to some kind of pop stuff, but, still, I like it, and that’s what matters!!!!

I am like obsessed with the new album! I have listened to the whole thing at least 15 times! One the special addition CD/DVD, which I so mad I couldn’t get, there were two bonus songs. One was “When I’m Gone (acoustic) but what was the other? If it isn’t one iTunes please put it on or give us a chance to get it still (or the DVD which I still want). My favorite songs are “Take My hand”, “When I’m Gone”, “The End”, and “Holding On.” The vocal parts in “The End” and “Holding On” are awesome. Please come to Detroit another day besides 2/29 because I can’t make it and it’s killing me and anyone I talk to. It kills anyone I talk to because I complain about it. You guys rock!

This album is the best yet! I love it sooooo much, it is absolutely amazing! My favorite song has to be Save You. It is so powerful, especially now that I know it is about Pierre’s brother. Now this is like all I’m going to listen to from now on. Thank you guys so much for working so hard, I really appreciate it. I couldn’t even just get one cd, I went and got two of the limited edition packages with the t-shirt, mostly because I’ll play them out so much. I can’t wait to see you on tour and hopefully in Maine! Hope I can meet you guys someday because your such great guys. Thank you soooo much!

you guys have WAY out done yourselves. the new album was more than i could have asked for. EVERY SINGLE song blows my mind, “No Love” and “Save You” in particular. the three/four year long gap between albums was well worth the wait! I like BAWLED. I was like ‘Kay… I have to get the album the EXACT day it was released in North America…!!’ so I did and I’m extremely happy with the purchase. Like… it’s insane. Well.. first time I heard the whole album, I thought it was beyond amazing. Now two days later, it just keeps growing. I am so proud of you, I can never stop thinking that. There isn’t a song on it that isn’t absolutely amazing. If I have to pick one favorite it’s definitely “holding on”, everything on that song just hits you. The different drums, the CHUCK talk (wooo hot much?), Pierre’s singing, the guitars (!), the bass…. it’s just every bit of it! Then “Take My Hand” should be a single! Even more so, after I heard you do it live on AOL (I was blooown). Okay I can go on forever… but I just love it with all my heart. I was so worth waiting for!

i love you since 2004, but i never thought you will do better than the SNGA album…really…. when you went to the studio, i just said that “okay, lets go guys, but please dont make mistakes”… and when i heard the 3rd album, i just couldnt say anything…just sat in my chair, and cried…i couldnt believe my ears…its different, but guys… YOU MAKE A FUCKING GREAT ALBUM…. album of the year 2008…im happy cuz you could change, you changed but better ways… you beacme better musicians, better song writers, better people… you are not the same young guys, who i ‘known’, you are more more more better.

i absoutely LOVE the new record!!! its very different but in a good way. My favorite song is by far “Save You”. It’s realy emotional and i almost cried the first time i heard it. My aunt is currently battling breast cancer so i can personallly relate to the song a lot. I also like “The End” because i love how the chorus is loud but the verses are quieter. “Love Is A Lie” is amazing too….you guys curse in it

I love it but my favorite song is “LOVE IS A LIE” I think its an amazing song and theres something about that song that makes me wanna listen to it over n over again. But the album overall is amazing. I love how you made it SP yet theres like a twist to it.

Les chansons tel: The end et Take my hand sont vraiment bonnes comme quelques autres… Ceci rappele vos sources, le bon vieux temps. Pour le reste, je trouve qu’il y a trop de “slow songs” et ce, au travers de l’album.
N’empêche que Love is a lie a un rythme accrocheur, une bonne chanson de radio commerciale.

I love all of the songs. The cd is amazing. My ultimate favorite is Love is a Lie. I think it’s the guitar and how it sounds that makes it out of this world. It’s truely awesome. I also love the end, no love, and time to say goodbye. I love all the songs although i do miss the old simple plan. To be honest when i’m gone and i can wait forever are my least favorite song on the record. I love you guysss.

i think the new album is spectacular! actually i used the word ‘glorious’ with many of my friends? =)
this new cd is absolutely everything i thought it could be! In the way of upbeat songs, i’d have to say my favs are Take My Hand, Running Out Of Time and Generation, omg i LOVE Generation! it’s amazing! Save You, What If and I Can Wait Forever are beautiful. I Can Wait Forever makes me happy =) for the whole album though, i really can’t pick a favorite…i love the whole thing!
you boys have really out-done yourselves. (my mom agrees, it’s her favorite album “your sound has really matured” she says. =P)
All of you should be so proud!

It’s very different from your past albums, but quite possibly the best one so far. I don’t know, it’s hard to compare the self-titled to “No Pads” & “SNGA” because they differ so much.
But, I am so proud of this record. It’s fantastic. David’s voice sounds like it’s matured so much & the harmonies (especially on ‘Love is a Lie’) make my heart splutter. I’m a sucker for good harmonies and you guys seriously NAILED it.
I don’t think I have a favorite song yet. But I will give you my top three, in no specific order:
1) No Love
2) Generation
3) Save You
I love this record so much. So much. “Simple Plan” was the perfect name for this album. It’s so recreational & you guys brought yourselves into a whole new league. I hope to see you guys soon. I’m so incredibly proud of you, and how far you’ve come.

I picked up the record the first day it came out, and i love it!!!! You guys did such an amazing job! I think my favorite songs would have to be “When I’m gone” Love is a Lie” “Save You” and “Holding on”
The other songs are just as great, but these ones just happen to catch my attention. I absolutly love the lyrics, the record has some of the greatest songs i have ever heard (ever!)I think this rexord is your best yet 
I can’t to see you guys live again. Well, the record is great and i now the next one will be just as good! (maybe better)

overall, i love the entire album!! great work!!
my all time favorite song on the album is “save you” i absolutely love that song, very powerful, both the music and the lyrics! not to mention the story behind it! great work guys!
but like i said, love the whole thing. i was a little scared because you all said it was very different from the old stuff, but it’s very different in a good way.

I LOVE THE CD! My dad got it for me for an early Valentine’s Day gift and I haven’t stopped listening to it. I love how with each cd you put out, you can hear the growth. I can’t say which one my favorite song is cause I love all of them! It’s great how you mixed things up and had new styles. Lyrics are beautiful and heartfelt. Can’t wait for ya’ll to come back to the Tampa Bay area!

I really like the new album. The line up on it is perfect it just kind of flows from one song to another making a good one to pop in if you’re driving somewhere for a really long time and not have to worry messing with/ changing the songs. I like how your sound has evolved too. I’m never one to bash anyone for trying something new. I’m really loving the first six tracks and the last two. Those are the ones I go to first since the cd is still kind of new to me. GREAT JOB

So that made my buy your new Album and i played the first song which i already knew, and then came “Take my hand,” and right from the beginning of the song i was Blown away.! it was so amazingly good! i had a smile on my face, a one that no one could remove:D The rest of the Cd is also Extremely Beautifull! Very well done! you’ve get my respect!

It’s well, different for the most part. I love the techno sound, but it’s… well, in my opinion, it’s so not you. I love the album, don’t get me wrong! It’s amazing! But it would be awesome to hear some of your earlier sound(No pads no helmets just balls) too. ^.^

This is the best album ever. I absolutely LOVE all of the songs but my very favorite is Time to Say Goodbye. It’s very old school Simple Plan. I also really like the chorus of the end just because it is so powerful. No Love also hits close to home. Save You is also really good (I know I’m not just saying one favorite song but they are alll so good)just because i’m not really sure why. I Can Wait forever is like the perfect love song too. YOU GUYS ROCK!(and Patrick)

firstly.. when “when i’m gone” came out i thought it was not so “rocky” but you said this album is more like you and i thought that if this represents you, then we should respect your decision… oh well:) happily i started loving it
i listened to the album and i noticed.. actually i realised that the new record is rocky.. and a lot.. has something of the old SP but lots of new things and themes. i’ve seen why this is more like you:P Chuck is doing backing vocals:P pierre is telling us about his brother and his lovely girlfriend:) we have awesome guitar solos:) and many other great stuff:)

i was really nervous about this cd. i really wanted to like it, but when i’m gone didn’t really do much for me. then when you started putting the updates up here, i got more excited, because just about everything else sounded really good. so i finally got the cd on monday (yay for pre-orders!) and i’ve listened to it at least once a day since then. and i really think it’s a great cd. there’s a lot of new, different stuff, but it never strays far from the simple plan i started to love four years ago.

I was nervous about this cd but as soon as i heard the first song you guys posted on the wheel i knew i would love this is the best albumn yet!!!! I the same but differnt and I love how you tried new things.
I preordered the cd and it can a day early so i guess the mail men liked the bribes. There are severl awsome guitar solos to and i would have to say my favorite songs on the cd are generation and Yoor love is a lie.

Wow! I’ve waited so long for this album, the anticipation literally tore me to pieces…the day i got your album i couldn’t hardly contain myself; I was so happy for you guys and i couldn’t wait to listen to the whole cd!
Later when i got home that day I let nothing keep me from listening to the album. I literally ran into my room to listen…I’ll admit, I was a little scared at first, for you guys were saying how different it was, but you proved my doubts wrong. As I listened to every song, I couldn’t help but smile…this album is absolutely amazing! All the anticipation, the waiting, and pure curiosity was completely worth it!
You guys have developed and grown so much as artists, and I can definitely see (hear) all the hard work you put into each and every song…and your hard work paid off! In one word to describe this album, I’d definitely have to say that it is VERY EPIC! It amazes me how much love and hard work you’ve put out for your fans- every single album that you guys release is constantly progressing, yet I absolutely love them all the same. You guys truly are great musicians and I am so proud to call you guys my favorite band. You have so much passion for your fans, and that means the world to us! Wow, I absolutely love ‘Your Love Is A Lie’ it is so awesome, it’s got such a different sound and I listen to it like a hundred times a day. I’m actually not kidding, maybe it’s not that much but it’s a lot. Anyways, I adore the ‘new sound’ that comes through on the album; it’s kinda more mature, yet still SP plus a little hip hop and mainstream. Put it all together = WICKED AWESOME!! Le nouvel album est franchement cool !
J’adore trop “Holding on”, je suis sur mon p’tit nuage quand je fais rouler le CD. “Generation” est un morceau sencationel qui je pense, sera un hit prochainement. La touche hip-hop est tellement bien et je suis tellement contente que les même refrains n’aient pas évolué jusqu’à un point trop haut… J’ai les trois album et c’est mon frère qui a acheté l’album pour moi à midi l’hors de la journée du 12 février… Je me souviendrai toujours de ma réaction quand j’ai vu l’album qu’il me tendait au secreteria de mon école.
J’vous attend… Venez vite à Gatineau, les deux derniers shows que j’ai vu étaient à Ottawa en 2005 et au festival des Mongolfières et depuis ce show de 2006, je suis impatiente de jours en jours.
Jvous love trop gang… Jsuis avec vous pour votre tour, good luck ! Votre CD c’est loin d’être raté et c’est plus que sensationnel… J’espère que ça dureras longtemps car je vie pour cette musique et j’envie le jour ou vous allez repasser à Gatineau !!!

i really like THE END, NO LOVE, GENERATION, SAVE YOU, YOUR LOVE IS A LIE.
Even though “WHEN I’M GONE” sounds good, it’s not my fav one, because I thought it could have been about something a lot more than just a girl. There could have been a strong message in it, just like there had been messages in “CRAZY” or “UNTITLED.”
But, everyone interprets things differently, and it sounds really cool, so gj.
Also, “I CAN WAIT FOREVER” is so sad. I’m so sorry you feel this way pierre (the knife and all…)

J’ai tellement été sous le choc la première fois que je l’ai écouté. Surtout les chansons My generation, Save you et Holding on(cool Chuck le ”raiming”). Mais vraiment, wow! C’est le meilleur album que j’ai entendu de ma vie! Je ne suis plus capable d’écouter autre chose. Les meilleurs chansons selon moi..hum dur à dire: I can wait forever…What if…The end…Save you…Je suis incapable de choisir. Mais sincèrement, vous avez réussi; vous avez évoluez en restant vous même et je suis contente d’avoir attendu 3 ans!Ça vallait la peine!
Donc a bientôt au Centre Bell je ne manquerais pas ce show là pour rien au monde! Et j’ai écouté l’exposé à Vrak tv hier…Je voulais juste vous dire les chansons que vous écrivez sont excellentes puis que vous êtes pour moi ce que les Beatles ont été à ma mère: le band de ma vie!

my favorite songs are Take My Hand, The End, Save You(i cried!), Time to Say Goodbye, Running Out Of Time(these two songs remind me of 1st album!), and Holding On.
when i listened to the intro of Generation for the first time, i thought “what?!?! it’s not sp!”, but yeah the chorus part was so great!! that’s sp’s sound. =D
i feel pain when i listen to Your Love Is A Lie…yeah because of the lyrics. x(
well…to be honest, i think the album is a little bit discursive(hmm i don’t know if this word is fit, sorry i’m not good at english!
). i thought it would be better if there were more unity through the all songs.
but the new album is still AWESOME!! i listen to it every day!

Your album is so AMAZING!! You guys have created an album that everyone can relate to. My top favorites are Save You, Time to Say Goodbye, and I Can Wait Forever. All I can say is THANK YOU for creating something that I can relate to. I have listened to it so many times and knew all the songs by heart before the album even got to my house. Thank you all for dedicating yourselves to your music it has really paid off. The sound is different but so amazing! And a huge thanks for keeping us fans updated during the whole journey…it’s only another reason we all love you!!!

Oh my god guys…. I absolutyl LOVE the new album!!
I pre-ordered it so i got it on the 9th and it hasnt even left my CD player yet!!
I have to say that my FAVE song is between Take My Hand and Generation… and maybe Holding On.
I like Take My Hand cause its like CLASSIC Simple Plan.
I LOVE Generation cause it’s also classic Simple Plan, but with a twist… and i LOVE the trupet line.
ANd Holding On is amazing, it reminds me of Angels and Airwaves… and Chuck is amazing!!!
But the WHOLE cd is AMAZING, it was def worth the wait… I just wish it wasn’t so long of one.
But I can’t wait to see it live in Hartford!!!

Salut! je dois l’avouer après quelque écoute j’ai bien aimé. Par contre, j’ai trouvé des ressemblance avec certaine chanson pop…je n’en nommerais pas car ça n’en vaut pas la peine! Puis l’album je l’ai acheter 2 fois plutôt qu’une! J’ai acheter le ”normal” et le special edition avec les bonus ! Je vous aime à la folie, j’espère vous voir en show

the new album is really good! I love all the songs, but I find myself skipping around to “The End”, “Your Love is a Lie” and “Save You” and then to “No Love” and “What If”. So I guess those are my faves!

The new album is truly amazing! It is still simple plan but has a great new fresh sound to it that is awsome! Your best album yet! You definetely have a new sound tht i like even more, but the one thing that stayed the same is your style of lyrics….and i am glad it did, because no other band has lyrics as deep and meaningful as yours, that so many people can relate to. You guys truly are amazing, and i love you….your music has definetely gone to the next level!!!

well the truth is i have recently listened it and i think it’s…different…but not in a bad or good way just different. however, i like it, still has that simple plan thing:P that i love…pierre’s voice, jeff’s guitar solos, chuck’s drums and david and seb’s backgrounds. my favourites are “time to say goodbye” “save you” and “your love is a lie”. save you has an awsome lyric:) and i can wait forever is too sweet:). the stile is changed and i like it before but i also understand that you can’t be the same forever no one can. it’s ok to change and grow up:)

bien, je dois vous avouez que je ne m’attendais pas du tout à cela…j’ai trouver votre changement surprenant…mais je dois dire que c’est un bon album. J’ai vraiment adoré les autres et je suis une fan pure qui n’a jamais eu la chance de vous voir en spectacle et je tiens à vous dire que j’aimais votre rock plus pure…moins technologique comme sur le nouveau CD.à mes yeux c’est comme si vous n’étiez plus le même groupe, cela fais bizzarre mais…bon vous êtes bon et je vous aimes pareil^^ continuer vos bon effort. il y a au moins 4 ou 5 chansons que j’aime beaucoup alors je considère cela comme un gros succès^^ Rock on guys !^^

I absolutely love “Take My Hand” and “Your Love Is A Lie”… wait scratch that, I love those and “Generation” and “What If” and “Save You” and “When I’m Gone” and “The End”…
Maybe I should just say that I love the entire cd; there’s so many songs that I hear and I just know what you’re talking about. Love it. Love it love it love it.
It’s amazing how you blend the beauty of different styles of music into one song, especially in Generation and What If. That and the beginning of Your Love Is A Lie is just as amazing.

I LOVE IT!!! I haven’t got a copy yet, but I was able to download some of the songs and I listened to it online and it’s freakin’ AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think my fave song would have to be Save You, cuz I can kinda relate to it and I also really like No Love and Your Love Is A Lie. You guys did some diferent stuff, but it really paid off in the end and it was definitely worth the wait!

I got the new record and wow its amazing thats all i have to say. I’v listened to it and im amazed, i love the songs they are up beat people can relate to them and they are just amazing. I would like to give you guys all a well job done on this album and it was worth the wait.
I would love to hear these songs in concert if you get a chance to come back to Thunder Bay Ontario.

Heya guys! the new album is INCREDIBLE and was absolutely worth the wait!(dont think i could hav gotten through it w/out the daily news wheel haha)anyways, everybody has to listen to or download take my hand, the end, andyour love is a lie, definitely the next few singles! hope you all come to tacoma or seattle REALLY SOON for a concert, wouldnt miss it!

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!! I absolutly love the new album! It makes me so happy! one of my friends asked me today y I had been so happy latly and the only new thing in my life was your album! I Love it!!!! I cried when I hear the songs Save you and No love, but then there are songs like Time to say goodbye and The end that make me get up and dance. I haven’t listened to anything except for this CD since it came out! I hope u guys come to north cali soon! u r so amazing live!!

hey guys,.. im so happy with this album in my hands! here in argentina the album was released a couple of days after america & europe… i couldn´t wait more time to see it in the record store!
at this moment im listening to it for second time,.. is very cool but is too soon to give a review… i like take my hand and i can wait forever and running out of time… all the songs are good!

Well, as much of a Fan as I am and having owned all your previous albums and DVD, I am forcing myself to wait until a Clean version of this album is released.
Im VERY VERY disappointed that, for whatever reason, you decided to drop the F-bomb in “Your love is a lieâ€, which made me come to this decision to wait. I always admired your musical work as being family-friendly. And Unfortunately, you changed it this time.
So now I wait for the clean version.
But as far as the rest of the songs/album goes, its good stuff.

I love the new cd. it is all that i have been listening to for the last three days. when i was first listening through it i came to save you and i listened to it over and over again probably 10 times. i just cried and cried. My grandpa died from cancer. it will be a year ago on the 19th. that first part of the song just brings me right back. listening to that song is exactly how i felt. how i could do nothing and just had to sit there and have hope that he would get better. i would just like to say thank you for helping me get through this.

Hey guys! The new album is wicked times infinity awesome!!!! I listen to it all the time. I absolutley love it!!! I would have to say my favorite song on the album is “Your Love is a Lie” I don’t know why but something draws me to this song. I joined your fanclub and I can’t wait for the stuff!!! wow j’ai pas de mots…je m’attendais à un nouvel album comme les autres, un peu différent, mais pas trop…sérieusement chaque tune est tout simplement parfaite. Your Love Is a Lie est selon moi la meilleure, 88 en deux jours… Vous avez travaillé très fort sur Simple Plan pi sa parrait. Révolution! oh btw j’aime vraiment sa quand Chuck…bin chante/parle ou w/e c’est vraiment cool bravo Chuck on est fier de toi c pas facile!!! Je vais etre à Musique Plus le 22 février!! Le show va très bon j’en suis certain premier show pour moi
