Hello Simple Plan. Your little terrific gig at LASALLE just now was very unexpected (because frankly, I wasn’t clued in to your performance in my college until I spotted the banner just this afternoon) and I was pleasantly surprised to find out how much I enjoyed the music that you played for us. It was utterly sweet of you to take the time from your undoubtedly busy schedule to promote your new album for your fans in our tiny island Singapore and I think that they really appreciate that.
We don’t really get many internationally acclaimed bands coming for shows here, so when one happens, especially if it is put together by a popular group like yours, there’s bound to be that steady bit of chaos and a good dose of squealing excited girls literally at your feet (doubt that puts you off from performing, though yeah? Especially David, if his claim about having a thing for Asian girls is a true account. ::smiles::) I think that I much prefer your music now than previously, honestly, because I foresee that the new album will be able to reach out to a slightly more mature audience, and I sure hope that it is something that you’d like to accomplish. (:
I was also wondering why the drums weren’t included in the show. Nonetheless, I promise to get a hold of your new CD when it’s released next year. Until then, have a safe journey back home guys!
