We made it! After a brief pit stop in London, the SP boys made their way to Tokyo yesterday. We’ve been on such a crazy promo schedule that everyone was surprisingly looking forward to the 12 hour plane ride here. I think we all got the longest night of sleep in a long time… The time difference being a little weird, we all slept on the plane and woke up to the sun setting rather than rising, so although very beautiful, I think we were all a little upside down from the time change.
After stepping off the plane and passing customs, we we’re greeted by this nice sign. This is the 6th time we’ve come over to Japan and every single time we take this picture when we arrive… It just never gets old
The airport closest to Tokyo is in Narita and unfortunately, it’s pretty far from Tokyo so after the long plane ride, we got stuck in the weekend traffic and it took a long 2 hour van ride to get to our hotel in Roppongi. After dropping off our bags really quick, we went straight to Shibuya to take a couple of pictures and get some good Japanese food.
Our Japanese rep, Rie san, took us to this awesome restaurant in Shibuya called Kaikaya. It was a super small place where we all sat super close but had amazing food. The owner took really good care of us and even took a polaroid… Good times!
The fatty tuna just melts in your mouth.. sooooooo good.
And of course, no night out in Tokyo would be complete without a couple of delicious Japanese beers, compai!
After the meal, we all went to bed to sleep a couple hours before waking up to do a full day of press. As I type this, the boys are locked up in a room doing interview after interview… Another busy day of promo, but all worth it when you get awesome Japanese food after!

Godammit! I hate how you all took all my time. Brazil, 2:34am, and I’m here just looking for news and I found a new post. I love when I read new news about you, even if every little and simple thing make ma cry so hard, so happy as I can be. Those things about this be the 6th time when you go to Japan and always take the same photo of the airport… I think it’s so beautiful. I don’t know. Like a special and far away dream. I mean, Japan is in the other side of the world, and being there, make your music gets there must be a magical thing. So just take the same pic all the times you get there… Man, so simbolic.
David wearing gray clothes is looking so handsome. By the way, I’m happy that he throws away that uniform. Always a black and tight pants, a black/white/red shirt and a tie. Every time. New clothes, new album, new smiles… I’m loving it.
That pic from Shibuya (I think) with Chuck and Jeff is great. All those lights and colors, made that a great photo.
Japanese food, nothing to say about it. I just love so much.
That photo from the restaurant is a great photo too. That place looks great. Good decoration. And the people who are in there… Well, I heard some stories not too good about Pierre and Chuck (and Jeff and Pat) in Brazil, in 2005 and this year. Then I watched the dvd ABPFY and even listening all those pretty beautiful things about fans, career, music, life and blablabla at the end of the dvd, I’m still confuse about what to think about them. So, because of that, the only one who I appreciate in that photo is David. The other ones are looking great too, but David will always be my favorite. The other’s eyes don’t shine like his.
About the beers… Well, I think beer is beer in every place in the world. And it’s always a good thing. But if they are different, then, tell us what is.
I like to know why Seb don’t appear in none of the pics. Uhn…
And David using hashis is always a cutie scene to see. ^^ And when he’s chewing, he looks more cutie as he could think to look. But now I’m talking like a groupie and you’re gonna think I’m one. So, that’s enough.

I’m sure you have absolutely no idea of how happy you make us by posting these little blogs/pictures and keeping us informed. seriously, its a simple plan thing, no other band does that like you guys. and thats just ONE of the reasons why you are my favorite boys in the whole fucking world <3
japan must be a really beautiful and interesting country. i mean, ive never been there, but just by the pictures you can certainly tell that.
I just loved these pictures, and the one of the view when you got off the plane seems really special for you. its a beautiful thing to see and to hear from you, guys. you are one of a kind, seriously. : D you all seem very tired in the pictures (but still more gorgeous than anyone, gosh..), so I hope that after you have eaten, you have taken some really good sleep. you’ve been working really hard and you need to take some rest. and yeah, sometimes i feel like your mother, cause i worry so much about my six boys.
and you wanna know the best thing in all of this? seeing you guys all together again. seriously, im so happy these days cause ive missed so much knowing that you were all together having fun or just in the company of one another. you have no idea of how important this is to us fans, really.

wow. the pictures are beautiful, but all i can think is, how can those people be walking down the street in the background and not see you and run over and start hyperventalating all over you? lol. i’ve been to a show, but i didnt get to meet you guys. but if i ever did… i dont think i would be too cool about it… id jump up and down a lot and smile really big and not make sense when i talk
